Mercedes Benz of New Orleans Reviews (2)

Review: I purchased a used vehicle, a 2011 Ford Escape from this dealership. They only gave me 1 key for this vehicle, said that the previous owner only had 1 key at the time of trade in. They should supply me with another key for the vehicle I purchased. The salesman would not. Did not even offer to get us one. When I got the car home the next day my windows were fogged up, I put the defoster on and the smell was terrible. I had to bring this vehicle to the ford dealer in my area I needed a new heater core. I called the salesman to report this, asking him my the vehicle was not tested for all of this before sale. He could not answer me he did not even know what a heater core was and preceeded to tell me that I had to talk to the person in charge of used vehciles all he did was sell the vehicle. Really I do not think this was very professional. I am going to call this used car person and see what he will tell me about all of this. I do want them to get me another key for this vehicle, so we shall see. I mean who sells a vehcile with only 1 key?Desired Settlement: I want another key for my vehicle and I want to know why they did not know that this vehicle needed a heater core.

Response:

We satisfied the customer by reimbursing them for the key to their Ford Escape. The vehicle is still under factory warranty and the neccessary repairs were made at no charge to the customer at their local Ford dealership.

Review: In the month of May, 2014, I had my vehicle towed in to Mercedes benz to get an ignition switch, door lock put back on track, the tail-lights continued to blow out and needed to fixed after the numerous times bring it back from my original dealship and a head light repaired. After working so hard to pay of the expenses of the repair. I received my vehicle and the issues that I paid for was still not fixed, I was still having problems with them (The ignition switch), now after getting my car I noticed the door locks would unlock and sometimes would not, then I later found out that my trunk would not open any more after getting it back. I complained and brought the car back after getting stranding one night after work, now this brings me to November 2014 the ignition switch again and the alarm system was all locked up again. The car was towed in 2:45am on Saturday morning, and the representative called to confirmed they had my car and I arrived about 8am that Saturday morning to pick up a loaner car to drive until they again fix this problem. While Mereceds Benz left my vehicle in the front parked in their parking lot, my car got damaged on the drivers door with a huge dent. No one notified me and told me and I received an email on Monday from the Service Department Representative that my car would be checked in to get repaired. Again, I was not warned about the dent. I also was at the Mercedes benz location after my car was towed and looked at my car after picking up a loaner car and there was no dent in my car. I received the email from the Service representative to bring my second set of keys which was strange, so I brought the keys to them on Tuesday and again my car again was still sitting there, and then I looked at my car again and noticed the dent, I went back inside to ask for the Service Manager and he said, "yea I noticed that". I asked him well, when was someone going to notify me, he states,"we was not going to move your car.' I said, you all are liable and I need my car repaired.Desired Settlement: I need the repair to my vehicle door and if the part that they fixed again cause me any problems I would like my full refund. I Mercedes Benz do not fix my car door dent, then yes I would like all my money back that I paid them.
