Initial Business Response /* (1000, 14, 2015/06/23) */
*** visited our dealership to explore the possibility us coordinating the purchase of her lease buy out but with her father as the individual buyer*** *** helped her through the majority of the sales process I worked the car deal from
the desk, *** and her father were given specific numbers on her lease buy out *** and explained that the disposition fee would be waived if her lease return was closed an purchased by her or her father*** and *** then discussed the possibility of an inventory Certified Mercedes-Benz they browsed the inventory and came upon a similar year/color and optioned *** that we had priced a few thousand dollars less than her lease buy out optionThey ask why they couldn't purchase the lease buy out for the same price as the Certified *** on our lot I explained to them that the vehicle had been in our inventory for over days and priced very aggressively to sell by the end of the month or be sold at auction*** and I made it very clear to them that buying the Certified car in inventory would also result in them paying their disposition fee on the lease returnThey decided to buy the *** from inventory instead of the lease return, their reasons were the additional Certified warranty included in the inventoried *** and it was thousands of dollars less despite the compromise of one or two options
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 16, 2015/06/29) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This business is claiming to have said something it did notThe way that they presented the options was that they were each a way to avoid the disposition feeThat misrepresentation does not jive with the way that they are claiming that they handled their business
Not irrelevant - the numerous misspellings and poor grammar show some amount of the attention to detail from the folks in question at this dealership
Final Business Response /* (4000, 18, 2015/06/30) */
The dealership stands by the original statement presented to the customerNever is a customer held "ransom" during the negotiation processMercedes-Benz of Westminster is a "Best of the Best" dealership earning the highest accolades from the manufacture possibleThis award is not achieved by mis-representation or deceit! It is unfortunate the customer did not understand the options placed before them
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 20, 2015/07/06) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
You are held to be the best by the manufacturer, not the customerThat you view that as the standard speaks to how this issue came to passYou blatantly lied and misrepresented this absurd fee and have done so in the past to others as I have first-hand knowledgeAs I'll again give you a chance to correct your actions, the check should be sent to *** ** *** *** *** ** XXXXX

Attached is a copy of the Loaner Agreement, indicating that we are not responsible for property left in a loaner vehicle. Each loaner vehicle is checked in and inspected when the client returns the vehicle to us. Nothing was found at that point. The client called us to inform us that he
had left property in the vehicle. At the time of his call, the vehicle had already been checked out to another client. We contacted that client to see if they were able to locate anything. They were not. We did everything we could to locate this client's property. At this time, we are very sorry that our client is missing their property. However, it is not our responsibility and we will not be offering to pay for a new one

Mercedes-Benz Westminster has resolved this situation. The dealer, Kevin S[redacted] once he became aware of the situation has made every effort to resolve and make up for the problem. Please close case number [redacted].
