With regard to Mr [redacted] Before I left last week for a meeting at West Point, I instructed my General Sales Manager to get involved and contact the gentlemen in question We have made numerous attempts to communicate with himHe does not reply to callsWe have sent him via Certified Mail a copy of the [redacted] Report he signed at time of purchase indicating no accidents were reported at the timeIn addition, we have also included (again in case he's lost all of his copies) the Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned Point Inspection form used when it passed certificationMr [redacted] drives over miles in his car, takes it to another shop, is told the vehicle has been "damaged" and has an unreasonable expectation that we will agree to his 'acceptance' of a notion we will allow him to take the car to "the facility of my choice" for any repairs he and that 'facility' deems reasonable

Good afternoon- I just spoke with Viktor and our Service Manager, Mete *** spoke with him yesterday as well. We will be replacing the windshield on his SMercedes-Benz. I apologize for the delay, but as I explained, for whatever reason, any email communications to this
effect were either deleted or passed my attention. As soon as the UPS letter arrived and I reviewed the issue, Mr*** was asked to reach out to the Client and inform him we were replacing his windshield and to apologize for the confusion. Mete will be arranging the appointment for replacement with Viktor. James

I am rejecting this response because:I have never received any copies of the "155 point" inspection, and I have been told by other Certified Mercedes-Benz dealerships and representatives from Mercedes-Benz itself that the CPO inspections are only mechanical, and do not evaluate anything cosmetic.  The decision to certify a car based on appearance falls on the sales staff, not the service staff.  As far as "numerous attempts" to contact me, I received one voicemail, and one email from [redacted] last Friday, over two months since I initially reported this problem.  I did not respond since I am under no illusions that this dishonest organization will stand by their product.  As far as I am concerned, our business is concluded.  However, this incident should stand as a warning to other potential customers.

I spoke with our salesperson [redacted] and he indicated that he did give Mr [redacted] a set of floor mats within 7 days of his purchase which was the following Saturday.
Regarding the light bulb that was not working, we at Mercedes...

Benz of Westmont will gladly take a look at it and find out what he takes to repair it,(It could be as simple as a light bulb as Mr. [redacted] has indicated).

Firstly, salesperson [redacted] DID NOT give me a set of floor mats. I even have email correspondence with him regarding the floor mats and left turn signal before and after the mentioned "7 days from purchase".
So, why would your salesperson discuss giving me floor mats if he or anyone else at Mercedes Benz of Westmont had in fact provided them?
Secondly, the left turn signal was not working from the beginning (during my test drive). I bought the car on the condition that the signal would be fixed. My mistake is that I trusted the word of your salesperson.
[redacted] promised to get it fixed. When I found out it wasn't, he said it will take more time so I can come back at any time to get it done.
I know it wasn't just a couple of weeks ago, and people can forget, but it's important to be more careful and honest when dealing with people.
I could have gone to a no name and bought a similar Mercedes. But I choose to go a Mercedes dealership, thinking that the car and salespeople would be of higher quality.

All Mr.[redacted] needs to do is call me [redacted] ( General Manager ) and I will see he gets a seconed set of floor mats. Also it's very simple we need his car here in order to fix the turn signal bulb which we will do for free. I caution that if there is damage to the turn signal housing from any type of inpact we would not repair it for free. [redacted] XXX-XXX-XXXX
