March went to Mercedes Benz of Wilmington to purchase a CPO carthe salesman attempted to charge me a hundred and eighty eight dollars to register my vehicle which they reduced to four hundred and eighty four dollars as a discount, the salesman also tried to charge me A $reconditioning fee on a vehicle that wasn't even CPO yetthe salesman by the name of Vic told me that it was the stores policy that I must pay the dollars to have the so-called paperwork done, i.etitle and registration, that was extortion at the least I can I buy the car unless I pay them between four hundred and eighty dollars in a hundred and eighty eight dollars to registerwhen I return and spoke to the first manager she was willing to take all of the exorbitant fees and charge me the two hundred and nine dollars it actually cost to register and title a vehicle the next manager refused to remove the fees he was obviously trying to get the car back up to the original sticker price, the second manager asked me did I read and sign a document for the deposit, I responded that no I didn't read it close and yes I signed it so give me my money back, they made a smart decision and gave me my money back and I left the establishmentthey work so deceptively that if they gave me the price and remove the fees I would not shop there because I believe they would take the money out of the repairs to CPO the vehicledon't shop here these individuals and the sales staff are not to be trusted they are very nice people though, until; you catch their deceptive maneuvers

Review: I took my car in to the dealership to fix a suspension issue about 1 to 2 weeks ago and also to look into my radio. When I went to pick up my vehicle I was told the radio was fine and no repairs needed ,the suspension was fixed and the only issue was changing my tires because they were all different brands and two were snow tires. The same week I took my car out of the dealership my cd player breaks, then my battery shuts down and my car would not start. I charged the battery after 3 failures within the same week until my appointment last week. I received a call last week advising that when the battery was switched it caused the two front windows not to work and I will have to pay $1600 for my windows . This does not make sense to me as my windows were working perfectly fine when I took the car in for service. I have been in and out of this dealership since August for 3 different scenerios and each time I ask specifically to please review everything. The service manager [redacted] was really nice in helping me to ensure my car was in the same day I spoke to him for the battery issue. However, after I received the call about my windows I called in to speak with the general manager Joe who extremely lacks cus[redacted]er service skills. I told him I was going to the Revdex.com and he advised "that's on me" vs. empathizing and researching the issue to find a resolution. He said he would call me back after I requested he looks into it and I have yet to receive a call back. This was last Friday 11/7 I called the corporate office the same day and requested to speak with the owner along with emailing the owner but was unsuccessful in speaking with him. I called the corporate office back and spoke with the president [redacted] who is right under the CEO and he was very nice and said he would ensure to look into the issue and call back on Monday ,however, I have not received a call back yet. I am extremely upset and disappointed on the lack of cus[redacted]er service from the general manager and that each time I take my car into be serviced by experts I get new issues that were not present when I took it in . Also, I called in the week my battery shut down for a price and spoke to Mike in parts who told me the battery was $168 and would not tell me the price without pulling up my car info with vin number but yet I received a call last week from service saying the battery alone is $274. I Advised I spoke to parts and they looked up price and corre t battery with my vin info. I also called another mercedes dealership to compare prices and they confirmed with my vin info n my car info that the battery for my vehicle is the cheaper of the two batteries they have.Desired Settlement: I would like my windows to be fixed free of charge as I did not have this issue prior to taking the car in. I would also like them to review the car in its entirety as I request each time to ensure I do not have new issues as I do understand some issues cannot be predicted but I do not think I should take my car out of dealership and within the same week I get several new issues. I would also like an apology from the general manager and would like to discuss further from the owner of the company.

Review: We have been going back and forth with Mercedes Benz of Wilmington for 6months now. They have still yet issued our registration for our 2005 [redacted]. We purchased the Vehicle on 1/23/13 - Our T Tag had expired at this point 6 months ago. Since the initial purchase of the vehicle we have called [redacted] ( the title dept at dealer ) , [redacted] our sales Associate ) and [redacted] ( sales manager ) We continue to get the run around on why we dont have out registration to our vehicle and are beyond frustrated. When we even mention that we are on the edge of putting in a complaint to the Revdex.com and/or Attorney general no one seems to care. We are the ones at risk driving a vehicle with a Tag that doesnt even go to the car and no valid registration. PLEASE HELPDesired Settlement: We want our correct tag & proper registration to the vehicle. We want to be compensate for our time & the cost of the previous title work that we paid out of pocket - approx $65 for title work at DMV

I bought a used 2013 Audi TDI without any hassle or negotiating and everyone at the dealership was nice (of course). I researched this car for a few months and was specifically looking for a car with great gas mileage, good performance and compact. The VW Diesel Scandal broke a few weeks following the purchase and I contacted the dealership and asked if they would consider taking back the car because I felt a very large auto dealer organization (Mr. Rafih) could handle a recall and loss of value, better than an individual owner. This was 2 weeks after the purchase. The first time I contacted the dealership no one responded. The second time I contacted the GM and he said he felt bad but that's not their policy to take back a car. Even one that is going to be recalled, lose its value after the fix because it will affect fuel efficiency and performance. The two things I paid for. Aside from the fact that I'm now driving a polluting car. Taking back an illegal car that I paid $20K within 2 weeks of purchase should not be an issue for a car dealership that regularly sells $200,000 cars.

Review: In February of 2014, I noticed a noise coming from the engine and brought the car in for an inspection. At that time I was given an inspection report that totaled $4159.95 worth of repairs. Needless to say I felt duped. When I purchased the car, I was given a Car Fax History report along with a Mercedes-Benz inspection report. Both reports verified to me that this car had no major issues and that it had been properly cared for by it's previous owner. I also asked the sales person were there any issues with the vehicles due to the vehicles age. He assured me that the Mercedes-Benz Dealership would never sale a car that did not pass their World Class Courtesy Inspection. That those type of cars were not accepted at any respectable Mercedes Benz Dealership.

There World Class Inspector missed two broken catalyst, differential pinion seal, belt and tension problem, and most recently a senor issue that has provided us from driving the car because the senor prevents the car from starting. I was told that there wasn't anything they could do. Then I was told that their World class Courtesy Inspection only looked for safely issues. When your car shuts off or the chance that the broken catalyst can cause the car to slow down to only 20 of 40 mph. I consider that a safety issues. I was offered a 15% discount off of replacing the sensor which cost an additional $1500 or I could trade the car in for another one which I can not afford to do. I brought a twelve year old car at $12,900, if you add in the cost of repairs, on a car that I haven't even owned for 8 month, the car will cost me $18,500. Had I known of these issues, I would have never brought this car.Desired Settlement: I would like for the Mercedes-Benz Dealership of Wilmington to fix these problems at no cost to me or at least the major ones.

Review: About two years ago I went to Mercedes-Benz of Wilmington as water was pouring from the room AC unit on my brand new Mercedes Sprinter. No need to mention the purchase price but expensive. My family was getting soaked every time it rained as water rushed inside via top center AC unit. The van was returned, the problem stopped for a few months and then start pouring inside again. This scenario was repeated at least 4 times with time/money spent going driving an hour to the dealer, sitting their for hours, while the problem was patched and never fixed to this day. Every time other maintenance issues were conveniently pointed out as well with bills totaling in the thousand dollars. A few weeks back I spent 6 hours sitting at this dealer and walked out with an 1100.00 bill for mainly fixing the breaks. A day like today, which is raining, we can not drive the van as it will rain inside as well and cold water will baptize grandma and grandbabies alike. Out of frustration with Mercedes-Benz of Wilmington inability to fix what looks like a simple issue, I started taking the AC unit apart and discovered that inside the van they have been plastering tons of black caulking, attempting to patch a water leak from the inside rather than removing the unit, which will take time on their part, and resealing professionally. A seven year old kid could do better and the mess they caused, along with the stain, never fixed anything. Wish I could attached pictures to make the point. It is borderline with sickening. I request this job be done right by Mercedes-Benz of Wilmington as I am sure that if it was [redacted]) Sprinter Van with this issue, the water problem would have been solved right the first time and his family would be driving in a dry safe vehicle. I know [redacted] will not put up with this nonsense why should I put up with reprehensible, inept, shameful behavior and tactics from a dealer that put profits ahead of customer well being.Desired Settlement: Fix correctly for once and all the water leak on the seal ceiling unit and clean the stains and mess their technician created. Stop the patching started over the last two years and now the warranty expired and is time stop picking the customer pocket.
