Ordered one style of shower door via salesman, they installed a higher priced door ($300 & weeks) tried to compromise with them, they refused.I ordered a semi frameless shower doir, the salesman orders and had installed a frameless door. It came in broken twice, but told me the manufacture was running behind schedule. Several weeks after promised install date, he told me the truth about the door being broken, said he would mail me an invoice. That particular salesman no longer works there. Owner refused to work something out.Desired SettlementI'm seeking the $400 difference originally quoted in the ballpark of 875, got charged over 1300 with interest and feesBusiness Response To Whom It May Concern: [redacted] from [redacted] contacted us regarding the installation of a shower door. After much back and forth pertaining to what finish and style (i.e. semi-frameless vs frameless), the customer's final decision was to install a frameless, heavy glass, shower door- our estimator discussed both the price of the frameless and semi-frameless with [redacted] and was finalized before ordering frameless shower door. A frameless brushed nickel shower with clear glass was installed on October 21, 2014. [redacted] was set up with Net30 terms for this job- a monthly statement is sent out on the 1st of every month. On January 6, 2015 our AR department reached out to [redacted] regarding the past due invoice #[redacted]. [redacted] made us aware that he thought he had ordered a semi-frameless shower and was quoted between "$890-$900... it was under $1,000." When we asked if there was a frameless shower installed, he said that the did not know but would send us a picture of the shower door that was installed. [redacted] also mentioned that he had been emailing our estimator about the price. We asked for any documentation pertaining to this job so that we could straighten out this past due invoice. We gave him an email to forward messages to. In the meantime, we told him that we would do some more research on our end and contact him if we found anything. We called him back a couple of hours later and told him that we verbally confirmed with the customer to order a frameless shower door at the cost of $1220.00. On February 1, 2015 we sent to [redacted] and wrote, and underlined, on the statement " Will be turned over to Magistrate by February 15, 2015." On February 20, 2015 we filed a claim with the [redacted] Magistrate Office but then found out that the residence was located in Duplin County. On March 20, 2015 we filed a claim with Duplin County and had the Sheriff's Department serve [redacted] DBA [redacted]. On April 1, 2015, [redacted] came into our shop and asked us to go down on the price and "meet him in the middle". We said we could not because that was the price that was agreed upon before the shower was ordered. He proceeded to scream profanities at the owner and the two young ladies at the front desk before saying he would just pay it so the matter could be settled because he had another shower door coming up in a few weeks and he wanted us to install it because he knew we were the best in the area. We told him that in order for his account to be paid off, he must also pay the $126 court cost. He continued with the profanities before throwing the credit card at her head and hitting her in the face with it. She said that there was no need for him to throw anything because this could all be handled in a calm matter in front of the Magistrate. She then told him that she would waive the $15 finance charge, leaving a balance of $1346. He then yelled, "F[redacted] it and do it all" and threw $15 at her. She applied both the payments, printed off the receipt and he signed it "Kiss My [redacted]" (there were multiple witnesses)- would have liked to attach picture but there is no upload file option. We went through all of the steps an organization should take when trying to solve an issue like this. [redacted] not only handled this matter in an unprofessional way, he assaulted one of our employees by throwing both a credit card and money at her face. Further information can be provided if needed.Consumer Response Please show me where I signed any contract agreeing to the more expensive frameless door?
