Fairmont can not respond to allegations from the homeowner about delivery dates not met or what the homeowner ordered from the RetailerWe can state that what the Retailer ordered from us was supplied with the houseThe homeowners have been
complaining about the house and the Retailers since the house was deliveredFairmont, in an effort to resolve the differences between them, sent a service crew to this house to complete what the retailer had not done to the homeowners satisfactionOur service crew spent a total of three weeks at this house trying to satisfy this customerDuring their time there they found no sign of moldThe only water damage they found was from where windows were left open by the homeowners during rain storms and the trim around the windows got wetthese were replaced as a courtesyThe homeowner has ripped up the carpeting in the master bedroom that was installed by the service crew for unknown reasons; has tore off and broken trim throughout the house, poked holes in the walls and tore off approximately two full sheets of drywall from the wall in one of the bedroomsThey have removed insulation from the exterior wall of the house and removed towel bars from the wallThe homeowner believes the drywall to be loose from the wall because he can push on it and it deflectsOf course when pushed on with enough force between the wall studs drywall will flexOur service crew was told by the homeowner to leave the drywall on the marriage wall unfinished and he would finish it himselfThey were told to leave off some of the trim so that he would not have to remove it when finishing the drywallThey were not allowed to complete all the workWe were told by the homeowner that he did not want us to comeback and do any workhe wanted moneyWe stated in writing that we would only consider a cash settlement for what was true warranty work and would only pay what our cost would be to bring the warranted items to industry standardsWe will not repair damages caused by the homeownersThe retailer was to make the offer to the homeownerWe have not heard backIt should also be noted that that the retailer claims to have been threatened by the homeowner and our service crew put up with verbal abuse to the point that they refuse to go back
