I am writing this as a response to a complaint/dispute from a [redacted] [redacted] for what seems to register as misleading sales tactics or services not rendered by (Merchant Strategies). I can only assume that [redacted] [redacted] is referring to a business transaction conducted between...
his self and my company in which we provided him with an advertising package for his website ([redacted]).
I feel it necessary to explain the services we provide to our clients in order for you to better understand what took place and why a complaint may have been issued in the first place.
[redacted] [redacted] originally became a client of (Merchant Strategies) because he was pursuing an online business. We provided [redacted] [redacted] with this business by designing his website and assisting him in the development of an online affiliate program. Please refer to [redacted] [redacted] site website.com.
Once the development of [redacted] [redacted] site was complete he was in fact contacted by one of our advertising consultants in reference to possible strategies on how he could advertise and promote his website. After conversing with one of our consultants [redacted] [redacted] elected to take part in one of our campaigns. he did this of his own will and was provided with full disclosure both verbally and in writing as to the details of this campaign. I know this because we require a signed invoice detailing the campaign of our clients’ choice along with a signature from our clients agreeing to the terms and conditions of our services before we initiate any campaign on our client’s behalf. Please see the attached invoice for proof of this transaction.
As stated in the invoice, we do not guarantee any sales or specific monetary revenues to our clients on the grounds that there is no way to know what purchases if any will be made as to the advertising being done. We provide advertising like many other companies, and like any other advertising agency we fully disclose that there are no guarantees with any advertising done. I.E. if someone were to post an ad in the [redacted] to sell a vehicle and did not sell the vehicle as quickly as they hoped, would that be considered a valid complaint against the [redacted] for misleading sales practices?

What I cannot do is provide [redacted] [redacted] with a refund on his purchase simply because he has elected to change his mind months after entering into this business transaction. I am providing you with the documentation showing what I feel is ample proof that we have done exactly what we were required to do in order to fulfill our end of this business transaction.
Though I am sympathetic to [redacted] [redacted] situation, I maintain that we have provided all the services he purchased in a timely fashion as promised. I truly hope this will help to shed some light on this situation, however if you require anything further from me please feel free to contact me directly.
