I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
***'s recollection is only half correct - he has his YEARS mixed up.This is the time line of events:Originally when we were planning out the placement of vents, I requested vents in my dining roomThis was absolutely necessary due to the oversized room that I had built because of the frequent entertaining that I do in my dining roomMy dining room is about square feet big (feet x feet) I frequently have large dinner parties with many people which makes a room even warmerHe kept telling me that it wasn't necessary even though I pleaded with himAt this point in time the walls were open and sheetrock was not an issueAlthough I pleaded, *** refused to install the 2nd air conditioning vent at that time, BUT did agree that if I found it too warm that he would come back to install a 2nd vent in the dining roomI moved into my house in the winterThe following summer just as expected, my dining room was too hotI had to avoid having dinner in there on hot days because as we were eating sweat would be pouring down people's facesIt was uncomfortable and embarrassingI immediately called *** to let him knowHe told me that he was extremely busy with summer work and that I would have to wait until the winter, I reluctantly had to agreeHowever, this is the main point...that was not this summerwinters have come and gone and I am still waiting!!!Again, I called at the beginning of this winter after probably calls begging for my vent...I explained to the receptionist that it was now the beginning of winter AGAIN...and that I must have the vent before the Christmas holidays because of all of the entertaining that I do during that timeIn the winter when I have people sitting at the dining room table with the air conditioner on, we are still too hot! Every time I have dinner in this room we have to suffer in the heatIt is so unfairI have a new beautiful home built after a devastating house fire and can't even use my dining room because of thisThe receptionist told me, "Well, even though it's Winter the guys are still too busyI will have someone get back to you"I waited patiently for a call backAfter week I contacted the Revdex.com.I am aware that this is not a minute job, that it will take half a day, and that the sheetrock will have to be repaired after, but that's not my faultThat is the fault of ***, whom I PLEADED with for the 2nd ventI have spent the last few years begging *** & Carl to install this ventI am not one to complain, I have been quite patient for years before taking any action but now my kindness and patience have been taken advantage ofI want my 2nd vent installed ASAP and after it is installed the cost of my wall & ceiling repair must be reimbursed.Thank you*** *** ***###-###-####***

[redacted] is complaining about adding an additional supply vent in her downstairs system which she believes to be a five minute job when in fact it is not. The job involves removing Sheetrock, running new duct work down the wall, and will take at least half a day. Another contractor will than...

half to come in to patch the Sheetrock that was removed. We said we would take care of it over the winter as we were too busy with repairs during the summer. Review: This company installed a new air conditioning system in my brand new home. After it was installed I told them that there was supposed to be 2 A/C Vents in my dining room because it was so large. [redacted] (the son) told me, "Oh don't worry it should be fine". I couldn't understand why he would put 2 vents in the living room, which is the same size as the dining room but only 1 vent in the dining room.I told him that I wanted a 2nd vent in the dining room at that point. He said, how about you try it out and if it is too hot then I will come back and put a 2nd vent in the dining room, so I agreed. After I had my first family dinner, (IN THE WINTER!) my guests were actually sweating while eating, it was horrible and extremely embarrassing. I had a brand new house and the air conditioner didn't even work correctly. We had to open the dining room windows which let the cold winter air in, now making the room freezing! It was a terrible experience. I called the next morning to let them know that I needed that 2nd vent ASAP. The receptionist told me that she would let them know and get back to me shortly. I have been calling every couple of weeks, I keep being told that they are very busy, they are aware of the vent that has to be installed in my dining room and they will get in touch with me shortly. I had a different problem with the A/C Unit where the line froze. The father Carl came to fix that and I told him that I was still waiting for his son to install the 2nd dining room vent. He assured me that it would be taken care of shortly. I keep calling on a regular basis, I call about every 1-2 weeks. I must have left approximately 20 MESSAGES!! I keep being told that they are very busy and that they know about my vent and will be in touch shortly. They keep stringing me along and I have been waiting years for a job that the son and father both told me would take 5 minutes!! I JUST WANT MY 2ND DINING ROOM VENT INSTALLED!!!Desired Settlement: I want a 2nd air conditioning vent installed in my dining room as I was promised on so many occasions. [redacted] & Carl both promised me this and they told me that it is only a 5 minute job.That is all that I want!

He kept telling me that it wasn't necessary even though I pleaded with him. At this point in time the walls were open and sheetrock was not an issue. Although I pleaded, [redacted] refused to install the 2nd air conditioning vent at that time, BUT did agree that if I found it too warm that he would come back to install a 2nd vent in the dining room. I moved into my house in the winter. The following summer just as expected, my dining room was too hot.
