Timothy Damon took $230 from me for an apartment he was supposedly going to rent to my daughter. Neither of us heard anything from him after that. I'm in the process of filing a complaint with the state Attorney General's office.

The owner Timothy Damon is known for taking so-called depostits on properties then never renting to the person. He also only returns said amount under the threat of legal action. Do not rent or buy from this business. Its a home run front for a scam that has been happening to many people for several years. They don't even have a real office and are notorious for never returning money or calls once the buyer has been tricked

I was in a transaction to rent an apartment with [redacted] on [redacted] 2015.We gave you the [redacted] dollars on the Sunday on the same day for a deposit for the apartment at [redacted] in [redacted] I was told that he didn't see any problems and that things would move forward.We got the lease emailed to me at [redacted]@aol.com to sign it. The lease for my part was signed on [redacted] and had to be faxed to XXX-XXX-XXXX. Everything was done by fax. Then after that I talked to him on Wedensday [redacted] and still said things were going forward that he talked to my present landlord. He also wanted me to put the lights in my name before I even got the keys which I did not do. I was told then I would get the keys on Friday [redacted] did not happen either. When Friday came there was a concern because we was asked to leave our current place during the winter. So we didn't get the keys that day. He also told me that he was going to talk to the landlord to convince him to let us move in and to call back Monday. On Monday [redacted] He told me that he still have not talked to the landlord and I requested he return the deposit on [redacted] Here it is 10 days later and still no deposit returned. This is the complaint that we have the way he did the transaction and still no money refunded.Product_Or_Service: [redacted]Account_Number: leaseDesired SettlementReturn my money asap and not have beable to do this to someone else when he knew we had to be out of present dwellinBusiness Response RE: Refund check for $10.00 shortfallMs. [redacted],I enclose check [redacted] for [redacted] to couple with check [redacted] for [redacted] already in your possession, you will now have checks totaling [redacted] the amount specified in the Agreement of Refund document you signed at our meeting on [redacted] and received a copy of.I would point out that the threats made by your sons at said meeting to break my glasses, punch me or come to my office in a threatening tone would be considered Criminal Threatening under the Mass. Penal Code. I am documenting the statements in this letter,Your receipt of these checks concludes our business in full.. Documents you requested to be returned are in the original mailing that has been lost by the US Postal Servicealong with check [redacted] which has been stopped with Citizens Bank. If/when this check arrives at your location, I would appreciate your notifying me, marking it VOID on both front and back, and faxing the front image to XXX-XXX-XXXX, and destroying it afterward.Please understand that the failure of your prior landlord often years to respond to my request for a reference and uncertain circumstances involving the fire that occurred in that rental unit made my client unwilling to move forward with a tenancy.[redacted] Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)i have not yet received the [redacted] check he claims that he mailed. and there were no threats made to him. I do not want this case closed until I receive the rest of my money and the lease you cant even read it as I stated to him when I had to fax signed papers to him so I didnt know anything about the [redacted] reference thing he is talking about. I will void check that I know was never sent but I will not close case as long as money is owed to me and I have no proof he mailed it.Final Business Response
