Review: Hi, My name is [redacted]. I had a [redacted] in Novermber. The hospital ordered my [redacted] from Mercy Home care. When I needed a refill they wrote me a prescription. I called Mercy home care and they send me the first one. When I needed a refill I waited a week, never got it and called them. They said they were not sending it because they don't get paid enough by [redacted]. I made a [redacted] and they finally sent them. Than about 3 weeks ago they called and asked if I wanted my last refill. I said yes. Waited 2 weeks. Never got them. Called 3 times last week and got yes you will get them tomorrow. Got that same story 3 days in a row. On Friday called again and they told me they did not have an order in their system for my bags. I had to go out and buy them. So today they call me with the same story that they don't get paid enough by [redacted] for them and they are losing money and will not send me the bags. [redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like my last refill of my [redacted].

This particular patient has [redacted] as their primary insurance. Unfortunately the brand and stock number of this patient's [redacted] supplies have gone up in acquisition price to the supplier and we cannot furnish products at a loss. These situations occur whereby cost of product exceeds the allowable and therefore we are able to supply a generic substitution that is close and the correct size for the patient's [redacted]. [redacted] patients in particular should be aware that their insurance does not always allow for deluxe items. We do check with our patients that have active prescriptions of file whether or not they are in need of supplies for the current month as a service to our patients so that they don't run out of them. Some companies who do this only as a means to bill [redacted] might just refill the supplies without even checking if they are necessary we are always in compliance with the law and would never just send supplies uninvited.
