I appreciate the opportunity to respond regarding concerns of billing/collection practices for clinical services provided to the complainantOut of respect for the privacy and confidentiality of our patients protected health information (PHI), which may encompass both clinical and financial
records, we have developed an internal system for responding directly to the complainant in accordance with local, state, and federal regulationsThe complainant may in turn release a copy of our original response directly to the Revdex.com, at their discretionPlease let me know how I can be of further assistance in the resolution of this concern

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:First off, if we're going to deal in gross generalities, long winded and meaningless responses like the one from BAC usually indicate some sort of culpabilityI'm going to make this response as succinct as possibleThe estimate that we got said that at least layer of the roof was going to be pulled offNone was removed at all, and the membrane was laid over the old roofThis is not industry standard and certainly not worth the $10,we were charged. The dirt insulation was not removed and replaced with something more appropriate as promisedThe actual leaks were NOT addressed by the expensive repair$5K of computer/editing equipment were ruined as a result during the first major rains we had since the repairThe person they sent over told me that the joints on the exposed duct work were the problem, something that would have been obvious to the person sent to do the estimateWhen I asked why we required a $10K membrane roof to be put on instead, he said "I don't know"Final insult was the guy who came over yesterday actually damaging one of the duct joints, which he made a big deal out of showing me that he'd slapped on some sealant to replace itThis entire transaction has been dishonest and abusive, and I'm out of patience with it and have contacted an attorneyBAC needs to come up with a more reasonable solution to this than what has been provided
Regards,

The attached copy of the proposal/contract clearly outlines the work to be performed There are no provisions in the contract for any kind of tearoff or removal of existing roofing materials The only insulation to be added is the half-inch fanfold, which is installed to absorb the rough surface created by the existing worn-out modified roof The United building code allows for two roofs on a structureAfter a core cut was done on the roof, it was determined there was one layer modified and inch poly iso-insulation board The industry standard is to overlay the existing one layer of roof There was no dirt insulation on the roof There were many areas on the existing roof that had been compromised due to the age and deterioration of the roof Again, the new roof does not leak! The leaks are from the lack of sealant on the joints on the exposed ductwork that is installed above the roof assembly Water is going in between the gaps and running downward toward the registers creating the leaks inside the houseThis must be corrected by a heating and air-conditioning companyBAC Enterprises is not a mechanical contractor, we do roofing We would be happy to recommend a company that can reseal the ductwork so that it does not leak, therefore, stopping any additional leaks into the house The only dishonesty, it's from a homeowner who cannot read a contract or understand the problem they are havingAnd that homeowner becomes abusive trying to bully his way to getting work done simply because he doesn't want to pay for the work necessary to fully correct his issues I have reached out to the homeowner to initiate a plan of action to correct the leaking issuesHowever, I have not heard from the homeowner

This is, by far, the most ridiculous complaint ever register to the Revdex.com. In respect to the high-pressure salesman, BAC Enterprises salesman are all paid salary so that there is never any pressure put on a customer to purchase any of our products. We never direct them to buy,...

we educate the customer and if we have done our job in educating the customer they will buy the roof on their own free will.  As a sales practice, we core cut every roof so that we know exactly what is under the existing roof so that we can make sure that it is always brought to code. This customer was told that he had one layer of roofing and insulation. The customer was very happy that he did not have to pay the additional charge for a tear off. At no time was there ever any contract written with a tear off off included on the contract.  The roof was installed exactly as per contract. The roof is almost 2000 ft.² not 200 ft.². The timeframe between signing of the contract in the actual installation was right at three months. At any time, if the customer felt that he was being pressured, he could've terminated the contract.  After the contract was signed, a worker was sent by to try to repair is much of the roof as he could to help it stop leaking until we could actually install the new roof. At that time the customer was informed that a lot of his problem was leaking ductwork. The duck work on the house for the air-conditioning system is fully exposed. There were many seams that did not have any sealant on them were  The cause of many of the leaks  that he had in the house. The existing roof was of age that it needed to be replaced.  After the roof was installed as per contract, the homeowner was once again instructed to have his ductwork resealed. That is done by a heating and air-conditioning company not by a roofing company. A few months later the homeowner called the office and said that he had leaks, we sent the worker back out to take a look at the roof and checked it once again. Again the homeowner was informed that he had to have his ductwork resealed.  The leaking ductwork was the cause of the problems.  After another call this week for leaks,  The worker was once again sent to the house. The house was fully inspected and even flooded with water to prove that the roof itself was not actually leaking. The ductwork still has not been resealed.  As to the damaged ductwork, yes, while doing an inspection the worker accidentally dented some of the ductwork, he did his best to re-straighten it and then sealed that ductwork as should be. The homeowner was instructed on how to seal the ductwork himself.  As to the shotty workmanship, the roof itself has never leaked. The only thing that has an issue is the ductwork which the homeowner is responsible for and has been told that on numerous occasions. BAC Enterprises is not responsible for sealing the man's ductwork!  As to the complaint about the structural damage, this is the most absurd thing ever spoken. The roofing material only weighs .42 pounds per square foot! It is one of the lightest weight roofs on the market today. Any structural engineer will tell you that less than one half of a pound per square foot to the addition of the roof will never affect structural damage. If there is any structural damage, then there is something far greater causing this.

We don’t bill as emergency room, but our billing does state emergency room visit at Mercy [redacted] hospital, which sometimes insurance companies do not set up correctly. People get confused and take it the wrong way but we can not do anything about it because legally it has to say that...

because we are associated with [redacted] Hospital. [redacted] is the main one we have issues with. We ask the patients to bring in the bill so we can make a copy of it and our manager can help the insurance company figure out the issue.
