This matter has been resolved with Mergenthaler Transfer and Storage having the missing cartons located and returned to the customer at not cost

satisfactory to me.  We have been informed that a check for damages to other items is in the mail.  Once that is received all issues will be consdered resolved.Sincerely, [redacted]

After reviewing the matter, we find that although the charges are due and correct as indicated, we fully understand the delay in the billing process. We have corrected the bill to reflect paid in full with no further collection efforts.
We would have liked the customer to have contacted us...

The local Mergenthaler company in Bozeman, MT totally botched our move into a new home. They arrived with inadequate crew and trucks. They left the job before it was completed to avoid over time pay. The blamed the loss of items on us, claiming we must have lost the boxes. And they expected me to pay for time 1/2 the crew left the job site to unload the under sized truck and drive the empty truck back to the job site. I will never recommend anyone to use Mergenthaler's services.
