Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I HAVE responded and explained that I was out of town on a family emergencyThis complaint was filed when your staff told me that if I felt like I should file a claim to just do itOnly after I filed this complaint did they call and say to come fill out an incident reportI waited a month before I called back to ask what the status on the incident report wasI will accept the part (not sure why I have to self install) but I would like a refund as wellThis was very poor customer service all aroundI will be pickin up my part todayBut just ordering a part does NOT fix or excuse the way I was treated.Sincerely, [redacted]

The complaint was regarding a door handle that the customer claimed we had damaged while washing her car. We had agreed to purchase the door handle part . We have the part and have contacted her to come in to pick it up but she has not responded

RESPONSE:At the time this van was brought into Meridian Car Wash it had a moss and mold buildup around thetrim of the door jamb_ This had caused the paint in this area
to bubbleMeridian Car Wash standardprocedure is to use a pressure washer on all our detail jobs with no adverse effectsHowever whenused on this van it did cause the paint bubbles to burse which in turn caused the paint to flake off.Since this was a pre-existing condition, Meridian Car Wash is not responsible for the damagesMeridianCar Wash will take no further action on this issue

Their statement is COMPLETELY UNTRUE. This van has been my daily driver for 10 years of which I have kept it very well maintained. There was no mold or moss on the vehicle and this is the first I've heard Meridian Car Wash use this excuse. Up until now Danielle and Christiana were insistent that my van came in with the damage. Why now the change in story? It is refreshing to hear admittance that the damage happened while in their care.  In their response they refer to one door jamb. However, the chipped paint was in several spots (pictures attached): around two windows, the door jamb, and the gas door.  Also, if the chipping of the paint occurred at no fault of their own, why wouldn't they call me to tell me it happened?  They closed early and left it for me to find in that condition even though I called them to check the status just 30 minutes prior to them closing.  Unacceptable service.  If I could add other pictures of the poor detail job that was done, I would, but unfortunately I can only attach 4 pictures.  This business damaged my van, does poor detail work, has terrible customer service and no accountability.  After too many complaints such as mine, this company will likely change their business name and reopen "under new management". It appears they have done this before.
