A company that was suppose to delete debt. Will not return calls.
In April 2017 company contacted me regarding paying down debt with 0% interest. I check the information on the web site re: license #, etc. We accomplished the 0% interest. Jeremiah P, the "financial Advisor", contacted my credit card companies. Before I knew it there was enough money left over from his transactions to put $11,500 in escrow to pay off an account I already had 0% on in Sept 2017. I started contacting them Aug 30 to arrange the payment as the 0% was ending. Arrangements were made with Joseph O to have Mr P take care of this. I repeatedly called. Mr P never returned called. After the hurricane in FL I kept getting the excuse that due to the hurricane things have not been taken care of. After a month of that I asked to speak to the supervisor. Mr O said Mr P was the supervisor. After another 2 weeks, Mr O said he would now turn it over to the supervisor. Another 2 weeks Mr O said he was taking over my account since Mr P never returned my calls. I have continued to call, so much Mr. O knows my voice. They finally sent $500 to me because that is what I have been paying monthly to one of the cards. They wanted me to pay $29,000 to pay off the credit cards and the rest would be written off. With the $11000 balance in escrow I would have to pay an add'l $18000. I said I could not come up with that amount. I was told to take out a loan. I told them at this point, send me my $11000, I will put it on a credit card and that will reduce my debt. He will turn it over to coporate and get back with me. He never calls back. We went out of town and it was supposed to be taken care of by the time we returned. We returned 2 weeks ago and they are not returning calls.
I would like the amount of money in escrow ($11000) to be returned. Also since I paid for services that was not completed I am requesting a refund of that amount also. According to Mr P, their service guaranteed a savings of $7000. With the amount I paid them along with the transfer fees costs with the credit card companies I have not had that savings. If Mr P had not taken out $11500 extra I would not have paid for those transfer fees to be held in escrow. The credit card that the 0% expired, I had to handle myself. I called the company, transferred the funds to another card to get another 0%. I only signed on with Meridian Financial because they were going to get rid of all debt within 3 years.
