Customer service once the security system is installed is horrible, I have called several times in the past to get a service tech out to my home with no luck, I just recently had a new issue arise with my system and am told each time I call , that a service tech in my area will contact meGetting service or a tech out to your location is a stressful process, and both times that I have had issues there has been no assistance
The home security provided is great, but I am disappointed with the unwillingness of this company to suspend my home security contract following my receiving two year military orders I am a Navy Reservist After receiving two year orders to active duty I requested to simply suspend our two year security contract until my return but the answer was "no" I am therefore forced to pay for a service that I
am not using This is the first company I have ever worked with who has demonstrated this kind of unwillingness to accommodate the unplanned sacrifices that come with military service For this reason when the contract obligation ends it will be immediately cancelled
Meridian Security has contacted me and resolved my previous complaint regarding my request to putt a hold on my contract while I am away on active duty military orders I appreciate this accommodation
I have been trying to deal with this company to resolve a transfer of account to new tenants that rented my husbands home. When I contacted this company one year ago, they were in contact with the new tenants and I believed the transfer was complete. It was not until I received past due notices at my home in another state 6 mths later that I found the account was never transferred. My tenants gave them all information needed to complete transaction and it still never was completed. Now the tenants do not want to deal with them due to the lies from the staff at Meridian Security. So I am stuck with the service for the duration of the contract and I do not need the service. A word of advice don't sign contract
I am blown away by both the customer service and the security system. I got the 'model home' deal because we are new homeowners which included several months free and a monthly unchanging rate of $49 after the free months. The system seems very high tech, but it is reliable, dependable, and simple to use. I am very happy we went with Meridian!
