I went into Balise Ford of Hyannis on Sunday 9/and attempted to purchase a car, the car I wanted to purchase that they had just told me was available ended up not being available when I got there, so I looked at another more expensive car, before I went here I filled out the credit app online and asked the finance department if he would be able to finance me with that much down based on my credit history, he said yes so I went there, test drove another car and the sales person Sue told me she would reach out to me in the morningWell the next day I tried to call her twice, then texted her...she responded with she had just gotten back from a funeral and the finance guy was still working on it, she told me at about 6pm, I may have to switch vehicles and that she would call me in the amWell at about 12pm I still hadn't heard back from her and so I called her and texted her, she read my message and ignored meI called the finance guy Jay and he had said I needed $down on the 12,car (20%) so I then asked what about a vehicle that was $and he said even on that without even checking for meSo I asked about getting my deposit back because I paid on my card and he said I had to go down there to get it back there was NO way he could put it back on the cardI then called the sales manager and he said it would be processed back on the card, I checked back business days later and it still wasnt on my card so I just called to check and make sure they processed it and the guy wouldn't even check to make sure, he just said it takes business days so if not there after tomorrow then call, couldn't even take two minutes to checkworst customer service experience of my life and I'll never bring my business to them again
I was very disappointed with my experience at Hyundai of cape codNot only was I insulted with the offer on my trade but we were never taken seriously by the sales team, especially the managerI was ready to walk out with a car for a more than fair deal for everyone- very disappointed! I have been in sales for almost two decades and have worked as senior sales associate for a local car dealer Your staff is inexperienced and untrained They should not be prejudice to someone’s apprearance and should also know it’s very insulting to offer a prospective client more money on a trade but not the same value off the asking price What that tells the client is you are clearly attempting to take advantage of them Hire a new staff or get them proper training! I’m taking my business to a more reputable dealer!
