Complaint# 11769601Thank You for letting us respond to this issue.We had the customer come back to our facility and we checked the vehicle with a outside mechanic that went over the vehicles exhaust systemWe noted that yes the beauty tip for the exhaust muffler was scratched on the undersideWe gave the customer a free oil change for the inconvenience and the scratches to the underside of the chrome beauty tip to the muffler.No damage was cause to the exhaust system of the vehicleI assured the customer everything was fine and that she would not experience any issues with her car exhaust system do to our actions.Since the last time I spoke to the customer, we have not had any interactions with her.This matter should be closed asap.Thank You

I am rejecting this response because:First of all I did not receive a FREE oil change, I purchased it from Groupon. They just deducted $20.00 for the scratched muffler. I did have damage done to the exhaust system which was replaced and had my bumper painted which was scratched from the incident. I have a written statement from the employee who tried heating the exhaust pipe back to it's original position. I ended up calling my insurance company after Jiffy Lube refused to accept responsibility. I did have my car repaired and my insurance is dealing with the matter with Jiffy Lube.
