Review: After discovering a leak inside my bathroom wall, [redacted], the proprietor of this business took out the bathroom vanity that was there, piece by piece. That and the fact that some of it had rotted made the whole thing unusable. He assured me that he could make a vanity that was "way better than you can get at Home Depot." When I asked him for a price, he told me $400, plus a charge for replacing the sheetrock behind the vanity.I agreed, and because he didn't have a working vehicle at the time, I picked him up from his shop several times to come over and get measurements, etc. I also was able to see the thing, and tell him to darken the color. I was not, however, able to pull out the "drawers," because of the position of the thing in his shop.Well, 3 and a half weeks LATER than he promised, what he made was not what I had asked for, and so he had to make more drawers on the end in which there were none. He made the drawers with NO sliders, and EACH drawer had a different depth!None of the drawers were the full depth of the cabinet. When I asked him why, he told me that that was just the way he made them. I asked him if he could fix the drawers, and he said that he could. Also, because he had failed to take a measurement, none of the drawers on one end could be opened (my bathroom door moulding was there). I can see exposed wood around the drawer faces, the sliders are the wrong size and can barely be forced to move, and after consulting with a real cabinet maker, this thing was so poorly built that it cannot be fixed.[redacted] told me he would be back the next morning, and never showed up, having taken my money and delivered nothing usable. He completely abandoned the project, with no contact or refund whatsoever. He would not and will not answer calls or texts.Now I've got to hire someone to remove this home-made thing, and start all over.Although this rather accident-prone young man is very ambitious, his claim of being a cabinet maker are fraudulent. His way of doing "business" is abysmal.Desired Settlement: I have asked him not for the full amount I gave him, but for just $275 of the $325 I had given him. Of course, he did not respond at all. If he could have made it right, I was even willing to pay him more than the $450 we eventually agreed upon.Now I am asking for just $225 of the $325 I have given him.
