I quite working for Walmart Supercenter, Derby, Kansas in I didn't realize that I had a 401K through Merrill LynchI was thinking about my 401K the other day and knew I had one through them when I worked at the Prison and thought I would call and find out what happened to that account to see if there was money in it I could withdrawI am currently on SSDIAnd they informed me that I had an account through WalmartSo, I called to asked them about that account, which I didn't even know I hadBut they told me it was closed and they had sent me a checkI never received a check from themThey said they mailed it to my old address and it was cashedI asked them to send me information on that check and they said they would send me a copy of the checkThen several days later they called and told me they couldn't send me a copy of the checkI asked why and they said by law they were not allowed to keep those records beyond yearsI called my bank, which is Bank of America ,

I initiated a withdrawal from my 401k on 4-18-It was suppose to be at my bank with in 3-business daysWhen I had not heard anything by the 28th of April I contacted them and was told it would be at my bank the next day I still have not seen itI called them today the 3rd of May and was told that they still had it and they could not tell me whyThey said they would check it out and get back to me it is now eleven hours latter and I am still waitingthe number that I call is 800-228-
