The last time the Collection Department spoke with him was on 6/15/12, when he asked for Courtesy Pay back which was granted at that timeIt was later revoked on 12/13/We made multiple attempts to contact the member until such time as the contact information we had was no
longer activeThe account was charged off in the amount of ($749.18); the fees were generated by ACH transactions that had insufficient fundsIn review of the account, it has been determined that the member has not incurred a loss as result of these fee's, therefore, we will adjust the charge off in his favor with the reporting agency

Ms. [redacted] not only wrote $800.00 on the envelope, she had put only $800.00 in the envelope, which was opened and its contents were verified under dual control, she also input $800.00 as the deposit amount at the ATM when she conducted the transaction.  Had she really believed there was $1300.00...

in the envelope she would have input $1300.00 on the ATM when she made the deposit in question.  The fact that she only input $800.00 when making the ATM deposit, along with the supporting evidence of the contents of the envelope and the amount she wrote on the envelope were both $800.00, left us certain that she was attempting to unduly enrich herself at the expense of the credit union.  When these observations were brought to her attention, she stopped pursuing the matter.

We have resolved this matter directly with the member and had been in the process of doing so when you sent this complaint.  At this point, the matter is closed on our side, as well.
