Merry Maids

After expressing my desire to cancel the service, they attempted to sell me more services. After I declined and still expressed interest in cancelling, they simply cancelled the service and charged me $400 for breaking the contract early. I asked them when my last service date was and when my contract was up (it was due up in two months, so why would I cancel and be charged needlessly) and received no reply. Just because I inquire about cancelling does not mean I wished to cancel immediately.
My contract calls for two rooms to be deep cleaned on a rotating basis but I have no once seen this happen. When I asked the nameless representative about it and what constitutes a deep cleaning, they side-stepped the question and said that they were implementing an email service to let customers know what rooms would be deep cleaned that visit. I have yet to see any such emails.
Further, their emails do not contain an email history and the person to whom I was conversing didn't bother leaving a name. This level of customer service is unacceptable.
