Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: why would ANYONE sign a contract, especially for cleaning, that states lack of quality is not a reason for termination He is a thief If you look at the website, they list STANDARD cleaning details That's why I hired his company None of this was done Stay away from Merry Maids and John!! As far as the customer not being happy on both visits, the 1st time I heard of any dissatisfaction was on Thursday 12/24/She told us we could go out there to correct the issues which we were going to do when we got an email just cancelling service with our companyAt the consultation I stressed that we offer a satisfaction guarantee if you are at all unhappy with our service in which we will go back out and address any issuesWhen she signed a contract with us I again stressed that quality isn't a valid cancellation reason since we offer everyone a satisfaction guaranteeAs far as her furniture not being vacuumed, it is only supposed to be vacuumed when that room was on a deep cleaningOur service does a complete deep cleaning on the 1st visit and on every visit thereafter areas get that same deep cleaning so that we stat a preventive maintenance cycleAll of our products are odorless, because we find that customers are sensitive to strong perfume smells so Merry Maids Corp, where we buy all of our products from, has designed products to clean well without that harsh chemical smellUnfortunately people hear what they want to hear and perceive what they want to perceiveWe always do our best to ensure customer satisfaction, or we would not be in businessWe have been in business for over years and have an excellent reputation and I am sorry the customer was not cooperative with us to continue service with usAt the consultation I thoroughly explained on what our service does on each visit and what gets done extra when that room is on a deep cleaningAt the end of the consultation, she said she was was clear of what the expectations wereI never heard from her after the 1st cleaning, so if there was a problem I could have corrected itWe do offer a satisfaction guarantee if for any reason the customer is not happy with their cleaningI was never given any opportunity to address the issues to her pictures which were minimal at bestI believe she was just looking for an out to cancel her service which she did, but she had to pay the fee difference which we discounted on her 1st cleaning per the contract she signed with Merry Maids

We have had cleaning services for years companies totalI have never seen such a poorly organized, non communicative, poorly delivery companyWeek after week we communicated needs and they were never metThey spoke poorly of us in our own homeThey don't use pledge or actually cleanThey dust but without pledgeThey do not clean floors I cannot believe we were paying 6k/year for this serviceThey've never offered offered pay back for a job poorly doneHis supervisor is aggressive and provokingHorrible experience

I can only say that I do have a signed service agreement as well as a signed cleaning contract so that the 1st time in fee would be waived that I am more than happy to forward the Revdex.com. The customer has spent all this time back and forward with you instead of calling me directly to resolving this problem. I stood behind everything that I said we would do as well as thoroughly explaining all company policies.

We have had cleaning services for 8 years. 3 companies total. I have never seen such a poorly organized, non communicative, poorly delivery company. Week after week we communicated needs and they were never met. They spoke poorly of us in our own home. They don't use pledge or actually clean. They dust but without pledge. They do not clean floors. I cannot believe we were paying 6k/year for this service. They've never offered offered pay back for a job poorly done. His supervisor is aggressive and provoking. Horrible experience.

Review: Merry Maids was hired to clean our home. They have a list of "standard" cleaning services. They do not do most of what they advertise. We basically got our bathroom "wiped" down and a quick vacuum and quick dust job. They left grit behind on our floors, cat fur on our furniture. They bathroom was not cleaned nor did it smell sanitized as they promise. They cleaned our home twice. I took pictures and sent them to John and shared my dissatisfaction with his company. I told him that I was completely dissatisfied and that we cleaned our home better than his company did. I told him that his service was sub par and that I was cancelling Merry Maids. He told me that "lack of quality" was not a viable reason for me to cancel the contract and I proceeded to take $161 off my credit card that day. Since when is "lack of quality" not a good reason to break contract??Desired Settlement: Refund of the $161 that he took from my credit card. He did not (Merry Maids) clean our home according to the standards that he has listed on the website. That's why we hired them. Their cleaning standards.
