Billing for services after multiple cancellation request We have sent multiple cancellations to The Blade but continue to get bills and today we received a past due notice We tried to contact the company via Phone today 1/4/and received a message that the office is closed It is my opinion that The Blade is being purposeful in not processing cancellation requests with the intent of extracting additional dollars out of former customers

the blade changed a contract mid time
people (especially older ones that never ave or never will ) read a digital paper, they are not pushing out the subscriptions, not offering refunds, I dont see how they can change a contract like that for probably thousands of people, but they are, if as they say, not many people read the hard copies anymore, why steal from us, I have until october, so papers I will be loosing,

When my contract for paper delivery has expired, the Blade keeps on delivering and sends me a past due bill for service I did not authorize
When I contract for the Blade paper it's because I have the money to pay for itAs two senior citizens on fixed incomes, I have to budget our moneyWhen my weeks is up, they continue to deliver the paper, then send a PAST DUE bill for itI did not authorize anything beyond what I paid forThis is an underhanded way for them to get you to continue serviceThis is not the first time they have pulled this trickI have called them and told them DO NOT deliver after my paid subscription expiresThis is bad policyI am NOT going to pay the $bill they send for services not requestedI paid $for their Christmas in July promotion, that I received onlineAnd that's my second beefThey jerk you all around with pricing that is unfairOne week you can get it for $a week and the next offer is $a weekSeems very targeting

Have generated multiple complaints for non delivery of Sunday paper still havent received my Sunday paper in months
I've made contact with Toledo blade on numerous occasions that we were not receiving our Sunday paper like we are supposed to per our buckeye one cable service and have only received a few issues for the months we've had the serviceI've expressed my concerns and still unable to get anywhere with this company

The Toledo Blade continues to litter its weekly paper in my yard after repeated requests to stop
On Dec 29th, I emailed Toledo Blade saying "Please stop throwing the weekly paper in my drivewayI never read paper copies of anything and just end up picking it up and throwing it directly into the trash without opening itIts a waste of your money, my time and resources and basically amounts to littering Please have the delivery stopped by next weekThank you."
On Dec I received and email saying "your request to stop delivery of the blue bag has been sent to the carrier." Still, the next week, the paper was littered in my yard
On Jan 6, I sent another email stating "I again found the blue bag littered on my lawnI have made it clear that I do not want your product, nor will I open/read itIt is now, by definition, litterIf I find it in my driveway/yard again next week, I will be filing official complaints through multiple channels."

I've consistently contacted this companies circulation deptasking that the unsolicited coupon papers stop being delivered to my home
the uncollected papers purpose a security risk since I cant always gather them in a timely fashion and indicate to others that noone is home and my house my be a good target for robberythe bags are also unsightly and go uncollected by residents for days and weeks and a time

A subscription is a contract between parties to provide a service generally for paymentWhen the contract expires the customer should not be obligated to pay because the business inserted a single sentence in the agreement to continue to provide services for an unspecified timeI expect The Blade collects frequently based on this language written by them to the detriment of consumers

They charged for for two years of a newspaper subscription that I never got delivered or even wantedI want a refund and them to stop contacting
I had canceled this news service years ago, which took some doing because they kept calling saying that my subscription was running outThe calls stopped and I assumed the matter endedNow I see that my credit card has been charged twice in the past two years, $a year, for a newspaper service that I never ordered, never wanted, and never usedThis is fraud
