Mesa Plumbing & Mechanical Reviews (3)

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Al (Jerry's Chevrolet) was kind and respectful to what had happened to me and took full ownershipI respect them and appreciate their responseThis is a fully satisfied and closed compliant! Regards, [redacted]

Dear ***, I apologize for not responding to this complaint earlier, I was on vacation I am speaking with the parties involved and trying for a resolution I will be in contact with you with in the next few days with the outcome Thank You, Cindy C***

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:This dealership is incredible in their unscrupulous attempts to lie at every junctureAnd despite all the details I present and add to this case, they insult both us and Revdex.com with the simplistic and untruthful brevity with which they respond to this complaintThat and trying to bend and mold other people's statements to their advantage.Allow me to add further detail to their rather brief and detail lacking response.I just got off the phone with the Service Advisor (SM) at [redacted] whom remembers the recent conversation with Jerry's Chevy ("Jerry's")The service appointment from which the [redacted] Advisor and Service technician made their brake pad measurements of Brake life and levied opinions was on 2/20/(months ago) And he stated absolutely that he did not tell Jerry's that the brake wear was normal That's a bold faced lie on the part of Jerry's!When the [redacted] Service advisor spoke to me on 2/20/16, it was within an hour or so of the [redacted] 's servicing and technicians report The Service advisor stated on the phone call minutes ago ( months after the car was serviced) that from what he remembers months ago (of the hundreds of cars he has seen since), that the brake measurement was around 2mmWhat Jerry's is trying to do here is simply muddy the waters months later by putting words in the [redacted] service advisors mouth, months after the car was serviced, by calling it 2-3mm and then 3mm I give the service advisor alot of credit for remembering it even vaguelyBut, and these are the [redacted] Service Advisors words from today, "whatever I told you (meaning me) on the service date 2/20/was the facts", and "whatever I told Jerry's on a call a few days ago was my best recollection for months ago"What the service advisor does remember is that he thought then (months ago), and he thinks now, that the brake wear is ab/ excessive, highway miles do matter "greatly" (and Jerry's know it matters), and now that he knows Jerry's claimed 6mm at the time of CPO, he is sure that the brake wear is excessive and abfor the miles on the car (exactly 9,miles since CPO) You see once I told him the "CPO report" stated 6mm, it made the wear on the brakes even more excessive then the assumed conversational 5mm on 2/20/16.......(because I could not remember what was on the CPO report when we are at [redacted] and 5mm is minimum for CPO).Bottom line, at the time of service on 2/20/16, the advisor and tech stated 2mm or less on the brakes, which prompted him to inquire where we bought the car, mileage, and CPO statusAll those questions and this subject matter would not have even come up in conversation on 2/20/unless [redacted] made the inquiry to me based on what they found (the brake wear)So that's the part Jerry's cannot argue or muddy at allIf [redacted] thought the brake wear was 3mm as Jerry's falsely states, and normal, they would not have brought up the entire CPO and excessive wear conversation in the first place You see my point? Further evidence of the actual conversation and their opinion at the time of service.Jerry's is further trying to water down [redacted] ***s assessment and service advice by stating [redacted] recommendation of brake replacement is normalThe replacement of the brakes is common sense when brakes get that low because eventually they wear our completelyJerry's is making it sound like [redacted] "recommended" it like its a choice Its only a a choice for a few more miles until the brakes are completely done worn out [redacted] did not try to sell us a brake job prematurely as Jerry's is "eluding to"And just because I always double check, I had the brakes looked at by another mechanic whom concluded the same thing that [redacted] concludedThe brake pads were very low, and the wear was excessive for miles and the 6mm measurements of brake life Jerry's claimed at CPO serviceThis other mechanic verified less than 2mm left on padsWhat do I need, an affidavit? Bottom line is Jerry's wear and tear math on the brakes does not work if the brakes are original, and are completely impossible if the brake pads were not originalEither way, Jerry's position is untenable. As such, Jerry's continues to Lie, deceive, and avoid their responsibility in this matter, (as they have done previously) and further avoid the very rules General Motors requires of them when they CPO a carBottom line, miles (mostly highway) is excessive for brake wear as stated by Jerry's CPO report and the [redacted] measurement on 2/20/of 6mm-2mm (4mm or 40%) never mind 6mm-1.5mm (4.5mm wear =45%) which indicates that the car did not have at least 5mm break life at time of purchase and as required by [redacted] CPO rules and as stated in sales presentationWhat the facts do support is that the car may have had approx 4mm or less at the time of CPO sale to us making the brake usage miles approx 20-30% which would be "more" normalBut that means what we have been stating all along, that Jerry's misrepresented the condition of the car, CPO service, etc at time of sale. Please do not close this complaint as their have been no statements on my part, just factsThat and the complaint is not resolved Regards, [redacted] ***
