I would give Jeff and his mechanics a 5-star rating for good service and going out of their way to fix the generator on my toy hauler. I live 200 miles away and showed up at his shop in the morning they immediately drop what they were doing and checked out my problem and fixed it and got me back on the road within an hour and a half I was expecting to have to leave it and come back in a day or two to pick it up I would have had to drive home and come back that's a lot of time miles and money. Jeff treated me like he knew me for years I would highly recommend Precision motor services for all your generator needs

I have two Honda Generators. Both were in need of repair. I called them because their website says that they know Honda Generators and Generators is their expertise. Well, they took and did a diagnostic check on them and told me both were hosed with blown alternators. I said this is weird because one hasn't been used in 2 years and the other we used last year, but this year won't start. He said that we must of connected them wrong and that is why the both don't work. Still doesn't make sense to me since we used one last year by itself. So he told me they were junk and tried selling me a Genrac generator for $625.00 which by the way, you can buy that model at Home Depot for $589.00, again not a smart business practice. He ([redacted]) charged me &80.00 diagnostic fee and I left. So anyways, here I am thinking I have lost two very expensive generators and a guy I work with, says, lets give someone I know a chance to look at them and lo and behold, they are fixed. It seems all that was wrong with them is something VERY MINOR and didn't take a rocket scientist (or expert) to figure it out. On one of them, the spring that is in the upper part of the carburetor was in the incorrect position and on the other one, that spring was missing. DUH. He put the spring in the right place and on the other, he took a spring out of a ball point pen and cut it down to size and put it in the carburetor and now they both start right up and purr like a kitten, like Honda Generators are supposed to. I called Jerry because I feel they owe me that $80.00 back because their diagnosis was WRONG, but he never called me back and I have called a couple times, but he doesn't answer the phone. Guess they don't want to own up to their mistakes. So if I were you and you are considering using them.....RUN RUN RUN as fast as can be.

I couldn't get my gererator started in my RV. I called Precision Motors, talked w/Jeff.

Told him the problem and that I was leaving in a week for a month long RV trip. He said no problem he could work on it right away. Dropped it off. He called the next day(Friday) said it had no spark, would cost $228 to pull it and diagnose it and could start on it 1st thing Monday. Additional cost would be parts and labor to repair. I said OK and reminded him I was leaving Friday on my trip. Long story short... he was too busy to get it done by Friday so I had to pick up the RV (w/o a generator) and leave for our trip.

Called him 4 weeks later, said it would be ready that day or the next. 2days later

he called it was ready: Cost: $829 +/- couple bucks that included 5.3 hours labor and $203 for a new coil and air filter. When I complained, he reduced the bill by 1/2 hr labor.

I thought replacing a coil and 4.8 hrs. labor at $115 an hr. was rediculous. For that

amount I could buy a very nice stand alone generator. If he had quoted me the cost

(which he didn't) I would not have had him do the work. Not much I can do about it except write this review to warn you. Go somewhere else !
