I HAD LAMINATE FLOORING COMPLETED DECEMBER AND THE JOB WAS PAID IN FULLI NOTIFIED MESA SALES STAFF IMMEDIATELY OF THE DAMANGE TO A LIP END TYPE ARE OF MY FLOOR THAT HAD APPARENTLY BEEN DAMAGED BY THE FLOOR CREW MESA STAFF MEMBER BY THE NAME OF ***, MALE WAS NOTIFIED BY PHONE *** CAME OUT SEVERALS LATER TO CONFIRM MY CLAIM I HAD NOT HEARD BACK FROM *** AND OR ANYONE FROM MESA SALES FOR WEEKS I CALLED MESA SALES ON JANUARY 16, AND SPOKE WITH *** I INFORMED HER OF MY CONCERN AND NEED FOR REPAIRS TO BE MADE I ADVISED HER THAT I HAD SENT AN E-MAIL ALONG WITH A SERVICE MEASURE FROM MESA SALES INTRERNET SITE*** TOLD ME THAT SHE DID NOT EVEN KNOW OF SUCH A SITE I TOLD HER THAT I HAD NOT ANSWER TO EITHER ONE *** STATED THAT THE STORE WAS HAVING COMMUNICATION PROBLEMS WITH THE PHONES AND I GUESS I WAS TO ASSUME THE INTERNET ASLO *** ASSURED ME THAT SHE WOULD RELY THIS INFORMATION TO *** AS HE WOULD BE IN AROUND 4:PM I NEVER RECEIVED A MESSAGE FROM *** OR *** *** ALSO INFOMRED ME THAT SHE DID NOT SEE ANY NOTES IN MY ACCOUNT REGARDING DAMAGES
I PHONED MESA SALES ON JANUARY 18, AND ASKED FOR KATHY WHEN *** GOT ON THE PHONE AND I IDENTIFIED MYSELF, SHE SAID THAT *** SAID THAT HE WOULD HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF IT *** GOT ON THE PHONE AND APPEARED TO BE IRRITATED FROM THE START *** SPEAKS TO ME AS IF I WERE LESS THAN A PAYING CUSTOMER AND BEGING TO TELL ME THAT IN THESE WORDS, "I TOLD YOU THAT I WOULD TAKE CARE OF IT." *** ALSO ADDS INSULT TO INJURY BY TELLING ME THAT THE MEN MEANING THE MEN THAT INSTALLED THE LAMIMET SAID THAT THEY DID NOT DO THE DAMAGE SOUND LIKE I HAVE BEEN CALLED A LIER AND I AM EXPECTED TO WAIT INDEFINITELY FOR THESE REPAIRS MESA SALES DID NOT WAIT FOR THIS ACCOUNT TO BE PAID IN FULL I CALLED MESA SALES APPROXIMAATELY TIMES TRYING TO MAKE MY PAYMENT I FINALLY MADE THE PAYMENT IN FULL VIA A MESA STAFF MEMBERS PERSONAL CELL PHONE AS MESA SALES WAS REPORTEDLY HAVING PHONE PROBLEMS AND I WANTED TO HANDLE MY BILL I WAS NOT HOME UPON COMPLETION OF THE JOB, BUT I DID NOT KNOW THAT IF SOMETHING WERE DAMAGED, THAT THERE WOULD BE A PROBLEM NOW *** WANTS TO PUT ME ON THE BACK BURNERTHE DAMAGE IN QUESTION, WILL BE COMING UP ALMOST A MONTH NOW THIRTY DAYS NO REPAIRS, AND NO FOLLOW UP PHONE CALL AS TO THE STATUS OF THIS NEEDED REPAIRNOT HAPPY WITH *** AT MESA SALES IN FLOORING SPEAKING TO ME IN A MANNER NOT BECOMING A PROFESSIONAL

On 9/26/2007, we installed laminate flooring in one bedroom for this customer.

On 5/23/2008, we installed another small room. At that time we were using caulking on the floors.
On 10/9/2008, we installed yet another room. While we were there, we repaired a closet door (that was broken, not by us) and offered to remove the caulking. the customer stopped us from removing the caulk (my installer can not remember exactly why, but we offered). Then, as well as now, we do not use caulking because in time it does shrink.
On 12/30/2008, we installed laminate in the upstairs hall and the middle stair landing.
On 12/31/2008, we installed  carpet on the stairs.
Five years later, on 12/2/2013, we installed the last room of laminate upstairs. Shortly after that installation, the customer called and accused us of damaging a piece of stair nose. I made an appointment to look at the complaint. I noticed a small dent in the stair nose, but I could clearly see it had been there for quite some time. I explained that the spot was much older and could not have happened recently.
She became agitated, so I told her that when we had time, I would get the guys to replace the stair nose.
In the following months she became slanderous and abusive, blaming us for all sorts of things.
Because of her actions, I could not subject our employees to any more of her behavior.

The person responding is not truthful at all about my behavior.  I now have laminate flooring that is lifting up from my floor along with the carpet install on my stairs that was looked at within weeks of install.  I would leave my house when the work was being performed on all occasions. Long time passing.  These corrections need to be made as soon as possible.  Thank you.

Review: LAMINAET FLOORING WAS INSTALLED IN MY HOME UPSTAIRS ONE ROOM AT A TIME MOSTLY AS I WANTED TO MAKE SURE THIS PROJECT DID NOT PUT A FINANCIAL HARDSHIP ON MY ONE INCOME. JIM WAS THE SALES PERSON AND COMPLAINT PERSON THAT I WAS TO SPEAK WITH REGARDING ANY ISSUES.HE WAS IN CHARGE OF FLOORING. THIS TOOK PLACE OVER SOME TIME. I PAID FOR THE FINAL ROOMS TO BE COMPLETED IN MY ABSENCE. CAME HOMETO FIND AN AREA ON THE STAIR LANDING THAT WAS SEVERELY SCRATCHES. I IMMEDIATELY PHONED JIM AND MADE HIM AWARE OF THIS. HE TOLD ME NO PROBLEM ON THE PHONE THAT HE WOULD HAVE HIS CREW TAKE CARE OF IT WHEN HE GOT READY. THAT WAS OVER TWO YEARS. THE STAFF AT THE STORE WILL NOT AND WOULD NOT ADDRESS THIS CONCERN OF MINE. THEY MERELY SAY THAT JIM SAID THAT I AM TO SPEAK WITH HIM. HE HAS NOT TAKEN CARE OF THIS DAMAGE, AND THE INSTALL IS FALLING APART AT THE BASEBOARD AREAS. THIS WAS BROUGHT TO HIS ATTENTION ALSO. A CREW WAS ONE TIME DUE TO MY CONCERN ABOUT THE INSTALL. ONE INSTALL CREW REMOVED THE BASEBOARD AND THEN LAID THE LAMINAET. ANOTHER CREW CUT THE LAMINATE AND THEN USED CAULKING. THIS WAS SUPPOSE TO HAVE BEEN REPAIRED ALSO. I AM STILL WAITING. I TOOK MY PAPERWORK TO THE SHOP AND LEFT IT SINCE JIM WOULD NOT CONTACT ME SO I DO NOT HAVE MY PAPERWORK. SOME OF THE JOBS WERE ON A CREDIT CARD, I COULD GET BACK RECORDS IF NEEDED IT MIGHT TAKE SOME TIME. MY FLOORS ARE STILL UNDER WARRANTY.Desired Settlement: REPAIR THE DAMAGES AND INSTALL THE FLOORING WITHOUT THE CAULKING, THE CAULKING HAS CRACKED AND WILL TURN BROWN.
