I have filed a claim in Gilbert, Arizona at the *** Court regarding a matter wherein our full $1500+ registration fee for a team that never materialized was never refunded by MSC united, in spite of repeated requests and inquiries of the club president and statutory agent, Mike M. Details follow.
We paid over $1500 up front for a season of state league club soccer. By two weeks prior to the start of the season, after repeated inquiries through the coach and the league president, I inquired as to whether or not we were going to have a team. The response was that we had "12 boys, it should be a good team". At a mandatory player meeting called by the coach for the next day, 6 boys showed up, which was more than had ever shown up in a previous practice. I believe the League president intentionally misled me about the team. I promptly requested a refund, and was told that the request had already been processed. Further follow-up in the matter elicited no response to texts or to e-mails, even though I had previously received responses. I clearly identified that I would have no recourse but to escalate the matter if not refunded, but again got no response. My initial court claim was filed in October. I have also issued paperwork to the address on record with the corporation commission (somewhere on Toledo Street in Gilbert, the address is different than what I just found with the ***).
