We have read and reviewed the complaint from Ms***Ms*** purchased her Black Card Membership with Planet Fitness on March 12th, This membership allowed Ms*** hour access to the facilityOn the day Ms***
purchased her membership Ms*** signed her membership agreement and the reminder page regarding the annual fee
Due to Ms*** acknowledging she would pay an annual fee and agreeing to these termsPlanet Fitness will not be refunding this amount
In addition, we have noted Ms***'s concerns and will ensure they are reviewed by proper management

When my wife signed up, she was informed of a one time fee the first year she had the membership which we gladly paidShe wasn't told about a subsequent yearly fee on top of the monthly membership feeThe fine print can say what it wants but your staff lied to usWe would have never signed up for your membership had we knownMy wife said there were several others in the building the same day she cancelled complaining about the same thingThis type of thing is fraudLook at companies such as Verizon and AT&T where they have had to pay customers back millions of dollars for their hidden chargesI will be taking this matter to the attorney general for reviewI know of at least different people that will also file a complaintIt would be easier on you to just refund our money

Again, your employees only told us about the first fee in and we were happy to pay itWe were not told we would be billed each year after thatYour contract can say what it wants because you know people don't have time to read themThis is how you consistently scam peopleIt's a very deceptive practice to include hidden feesYou should send your customers reminders prior to charging any fees and give them an opportunity to cancelI hope the Revdex.com finds your hidden fees deceptive and publishes this case to warn othersObviously, I'm not the only person who has been scammed by youI hope this serves as notice to others before they sign up for your deceptive practices

We have reviewed the additional response from Ms*** regarding her membership with Planet FitnessPlanet Fitness stands behind the terms of Ms***'s membership agreementMs*** signed all required fields including the second page which is a reminder of the annual feeMs*** also paid the annual fee on the same date in Planet Fitness will not be refunding Ms*** as outlined in her agreement
It is or hope that Ms*** understands our reasoning for this decision and it is our hope to see her again in the future

annual fee. Ms. [redacted] cancelled on June 8th, 2015, 15 days past the required date. In addition she was not charged her June 17th regularly monthly dues.
We have noted Ms. [redacted]'s concerns to ensure they are reviewed by the proper management team for consideration.

Planet Fitness had made no attempt to correct this issue it is not right to charge me for an annual fee over 7 days! If they would of allowed me to cancel over the phone I would of canceled months ago! How can you charge a person a full 12 month service when they only had the option to use 7 days of it. For the company to say they did something nice by not charging my for the 7 days of that month is bull if they check their records I have no been there in months!
