Review: On 1-28-14 I hired Mesker Construction to put asphalt around perimeter of house for safety reasons. At that time I checked website and they were showed to be legitimate and given an A by the Revdex.com. Also tried to inquire with County about contract he said he had, but later found out was false. The "asphalt" was not as fully described and has since become so deteriorated that it is more of a hazard and unsafe. I paid in full for asphalt on 1-29-14 but the owner did not return to the job as he stated to inspect product. Since that time I have made several attempts to contact the company with my complaints and cannot locate the website any longer, nor will they return my call. This company has misrepresented their services and product and therefore should be reported. I would like to get my money back in full since it will now cost me to have it redone properly. I am an elderly widow who lives 5 miles from town and am concerned for my safety. Now you have to use a 4 wheel drive vehicle in order to use the area. I have my receipt and photos available upon request.Desired Settlement: My payment of $17,000 and to enlighten the public of their fraudulent claims and service. [redacted] Mesker claims they are a member of the Revdex.com.

Review: Feb. 24th. 2014I would like to file a complaint with the Revdex.com against the Mesker Construction Co. of [redacted] ROC # [redacted] My statement is that they used un-true and mis-leading statements to sell a job of paving a driveway. After my statement to him that a rough estimation of around $4000 stated by him was far more than I could possibly afford to pay. After several attempts to get him to give me a more accurate estimate based on what I told him that I might be able to pay he said that he could not , because he did not know how much material was left in the equipment, but they would be able to work with us. He kept throwing around a couple of different price amounts by the square ft. The negotations to do the job began about 4 o'clock and the job was completed within 2 hrs. I was than presented a bill for $6700. This all happened on Feb. 14th. 2014. Because of the lateness of the day the company left their equipment on my property for the night. The following morning when the employees come to pick up the equipment I asked the employee to have the owner or manager of the company to come by or give me a call. No one did either. My credit card company tried to contact them and was hung up on. The following day, when I had not heard from anyone I called the home office and talked to the company owner. I explained the above complaint and my dis-satisfaction. He told me that the person that had negotiated the job would contact me the following monday. I am still waitingI would still like to meet with anyone concerned, to show my concern and belief that I was deliberty mis-lead and over charged. I would like to believe that the company would not like anyone to have the feelings that I now have towards it. Letters have been sent to the BBC and to Mesker Construction.Desired Settlement: To reduce the total charge to the amount of the total sq.ft. of paved area at 85 cents a sq.ft. Which would reduce the bill by $1015.oo. Which would still be $1685.oo over the amount that we told him we wouldn't be able to pay.
