When we scheduled the installation, we asked Messner to send an installer that would wear a mask. When our installer arrived, I politely asked him to wear a mask when he was in my home. My wife and I are high risk for COVID, and we wore masks when he was in our home. The installer refused to wear a mask, and he wasn’t very nice about it.
This installer also did quite a bit of damage to our walls during installation and to our furniture that he moved. When I brought this to Messner’s attention, their general manager came to our home and repaired some of the damage, but not all of it. He promised to come back and finish repairing the damage, but we never heard from him again.
I suggest you go somewhere else for your carpet if you are looking for polite and professional installation services.
In July 2018, we had *** vinyl sheet flooring installed in our kitchen, foyer and 3 bathrooms. In May 2019, we noticed two 4 foot ridges had formed in our kitchen floor and Messner's came to our home on May 29th and installed new flooring in the kitchen. We spoke with Greg Messner, owner of Messner flooring, confirming our problem with the flooring. In June 2019, problems reoccurred. Again, we had a conversation with Messner flooring and we have not had any results. We requested that an *** rep come out to look at the floor, but there was a conflict in finding a date to come to our home. Since then, there has been no communication from Greg Messner or the company to rectify this matter. In August 2019, we have noticed that any furniture placed on the vinyl flooring, leaves an indentation in the vinyl flooring. We understand there is a 25 year materials warranty.
We responded to the complaint and determined on 5/7/19 that the kitchen floor needed to be replaced. The installation was scheduled and completed on 5/29/19. Upon inspection a portion of the vinyl base was loose and was re-glued on 6/5/19. At this time an imperfection was found in the new kitchen floor. During the process of scheduling the *** rep. for an inspection the customer and our manager became frustrated with each other. During a discussion on 6/27/19 both people could not agree on a date and the conversation ended abruptly.
On 8/12/19 Peter Messner, the business owner, is made aware of the issue by the Revdex.com. The owner arranged to meet with the *** on 8/15/19. Upon closer examination it is determined that there is something telegraphing through the floor. Options are discussed and the *** agreed to a period of 2 weeks for a resolution to be presented. A letter offering the *** some options to resolve the issues was prepared and sent on 8/26/19. At this point we are awaiting their direction. Again the owner is personally involved because he had a much more productive conversation with Mr. & Mrs.. I would expect the ***'s direction within a few days.
Phone Call Response, The Consumer had advised that the complaint was resolved to his satisfaction with the Business. The Consumer had advised that the Business provide refund on total on total project.
