This is the note left by our operations manager Mike in the file of the bride.
"[redacted]'s mom called 9-21, demanding a refund on what she thought was a tiara that she purchased but ended up was a belt?????? She indicated she had purchased...

the stock piece at 50% off or $175.00 but insisted it was a tiara. I let her know some of our belts are actually worn as head bands etc.... and maybe that was what confused her. She continued and demanded we give her a refund. I stopped her and explained the following: This product was picked up in Mid-July and has been in their possession since. If in fact there was any misunderstanding on what they had purchased, we could have easily resolved it a week or 2 after they picked it up. Since the product has been in their hands for over 2 months without any indication of error and the wedding date has passed, we would not be able to honor any form of refunds or exchanges. She told me she would be going to the Revdex.com and Facebook to tell everyone what a terrible place we are."
I will be happy to send a copy of the receipt on the purchase, which clearly identifies the item as it was purchased.
As stated above, many brides use the "belts" for other purposes such as straps on the gown or for the hair as an ornament such as a tiara or a headband.
The customer had the purchased item in her possession for ten weeks before we were notified of any concerns.
Mestad's does not refund any purchases after the wedding has happened for obvious reasons

I have contacted [redacted] that her gown will be here by Friday.
