Met Food

Review: I went into the met food market and during my checkout I noticed a sign on the window that clearly stated assorted varieties of Coca-Cola 2 Liter (67.6 FL. OZ.) were on sale 5 products for $6.00. I finished my transaction and proceeded to pick up 5 Coca-Cola products. I returned to the checkout counter where I was told that I could only buy Coke, Fanta, and Sprite. The cashier informed me that I could not get a Seagrams Ginger Ale but we went back and fourth on the matter and I asked for the manager. The manager refused to honor the ad on the window because it specified otherwise on the flyer. I told the manager I never seen the flyer and the ad on the window said differently. The manager still refused to honor their own advertisement.Desired Settlement: I wish for the ad to be honored as well as a phone call from the Met owner not the manager. I would like a written apology from the manager.

This is a letter in response to the complaint #[redacted].The owner of the store (Metfood Supermarket) spoke to [redacted] and made arrangements for him to receive the merchandise at the sale price. He was informed that the signs are pre-printed for us and we will try in the future to make sure that the correct information is posted on the sign and it matches our circular. We are sorry for any inconvenience to our customers and look to better serve them in the future.
