I am rejecting this response because:There were inaccuracies is his response I want to address I did contact [redacted] through facebook in a local business referral group where he posts his services This was a job that was within the scope of his business and which he stated he could help with He represents himself within this online group as from this company Here is an example of one of his recent postings "Need any custom welding doneI'm local and my rates are competitive###-###-#### [redacted] ' This was a paid job and money was discussed which constitutes hiring, there was no contract as stated, I was still awaiting an estimate, and there was no discussion of this being a side job I did try for months to contact him without any responses I attempted through a few phone numbers and also through messaging which shows a time stamp of each time he read them He never once told me I could pick them up which I did offer to do, nor did I even have any address to do so After filing the complaint I received an upset phone call from his business partner who stated she would speak with himAfter which I received a message from him him through facebook that I can pick them up the following day, he sent me his address and told me they would be on his front steps I then received a second message that stated this "When your facing my house there is an alleyway to the leftThe hinges are in a box underneath the deck." I was able to pick up the hinges that day, two of the hinges were in the condition I gave them to him and one is rusted I wanted to share the accurate information about this case I did not receive any apologies from either owner I dont wish to pursue this case anymore even though one of my hinges was returned damaged

I responded to Mrs.[redacted] on a local swap/sell forum on Facebook and offered to help find replacement hinges. Under no circumstances did this have anything to do with my company since I don't manufacture hinges nor do I repair them. Why she felt it necessary to name my company is beyond me. This was...
a personal matter and no monies or contracts were ever exchanged or signed and the only arrangement I had with this woman was as an individual trying to help. She gave me 3 hinges and I found suitable replacements for her but i've been busy with work and personal matters and I haven't had the time to contact her. I told her she can come and pick up her hinges anytime minus the ones I found for her and that's that. Like I said this was a favor I was doing as an individual and in no way was this associated with my company whatsoever. How do I get this taken off my business since it wasn't a business transaction?
