Metal Master Roofing and Construction

This is a very difficult review to write, because I believed I had forged a very good rapport with Phil Miller, I considered him a friend. In fact, I would always refer to him as "Phil Miller, like the beer." I referred Phil to others that I knew, because he seemingly did a good job on my roof several years ago. I am reminded with the recent hail storms that I should write this review, so that no one else gets the treatment that we received after Phil Miller did my mother's roof on her home, who is now 86 years of age. She and I both are physically challenged/disabled..If you are wondering why it took me a while write this, it is because of the relationship that I had or at least thought I had with Phil and his ONGOING commitment to fix what he did wrong, I called him numerous times in anticipation that he would HONOR HIS WORD and he would always indicate he was going to fix the problem(s). And I have obviously given him ample opportunity to repair the problem(s), but I regrettably say that he has NEVER come through and after 2 years I believe he has no intent to repair the problem(s). The last time we spoke, he committed to having someone named come out, but of course, it never happened and I have NEVER heard back from Phil. I thought he was a man of integrity, but obviously, I was wrong.

This is what happened when he did my mother's roof. His crew got there before he arrived. They were all of Spanish speaking backgrounds and they began working on the roof to replace it. My mom and I were in the house and these guys were taking the boxes of shingles up on the roof and DROPPING them on the roof, instead of placing them on the roof and my mom and I were hearing the cabinets in the kitchens cracking/splitting and just unbelievable LOUDNESS.. My mom said, it sounds like they are going to tear my house up, so I went outside and asked them to stop dropping those heavy boxes on the roof, of course I don't think they could really understand English.Then, they were just BANGING unbelievably on the roof, I guess taking the shingles off and placing new ones on. Eventually, Phil showed up and I made him aware of what had been happening and he indicated it was a different crew and showed a little disgust, but he went on observing the workers. For some reason Phil had to go in the attic and I showed him the attic entrance through the garage. I stood at the bottom of the attic ladder and he was getting ready to come back down, not even addressing what I could clearly see and I said, Phil, what's going on...I could see clear to the outside. These guys had banged right through the wood of the roof and Phil said that he thought it was already like that and I assured him that was NOT the case. He went outside and supposedly was going to have them repair it. Fortunately, I could clearly see that problem, but I was left wondering were there other holes beaten throughout the roof as well. Not to mention that splitting/cracking we heard from the kitchen cabinets. A few weeks before Phil came to do the roof, we had a gentleman come to assess where squirrels were getting into the attic and he came back after the roof had been completed to put up a blocker to keep the squirrels from getting in and shortly after getting into the attic, he came back down and asked us what happened and I said, what are you talking about and he indicated that a major beam had been broken, he said he noticed it right away because it wasn't like that when I was here before. And that's when I contacted Phil about making the repairs and after that I noticed the ceiling reflected damage in one of the bedrooms and to date the repairs have not been made nor do I believe Phil had any plan of repairing anything, after all it has been two years. I have a 3 to 5 years warranty. I am very disappointed in Phil's lack of integrity. I have shared that my mom and I are physically challenged/disabled, we need people in the world that can be trusted, because we e can't climb into attics to ensure people are doing what they are supposed to do. I still am concerned about how many holes were beaten in our roof other than the one I fortunately saw and hopefully nothing happens with the cabinets.
