Details regarding the complaint we received from ID [redacted] The customer purchased a Large moving sign at the MN State Fair Aug 30, - It was a camping sign with a 5th wheel camper-campfire people -Tree sun design with personalization saying "HAPPY CAMPERS" SIDE 1, [redacted] *** SIDE This sign was a standard ft sign and was completed at the MN State FairIt was paid in full & given to the customer at the fair A second ft custom sign was then ordered with 50% down (x 50% = 241.57) The reason we get 50% down as time order is place is to cover the design time in creating their one of a kind sign in the event they don't complete the order and try to use our design with someone else In order for us to complete their proof we need their images which were not sent to us until Nov8th.(days after the sign was ordered) A proof was then sent to her for approval or if they wanted any revisions on the design During the days that we were waiting for their artwork to arrive for us to complete our work on this project we contacted them multiple times and on Nov8th she submitted her artwork We did not charge her for designing her logo as she stated in her complaint we used here logo incorporated into our custom design sign as requested by her As far as her character assignation of our company and us in particular( "We lied" & "She said she'll make it her mission to bad mouth our company" & "that we have ripped off others") These statements are all & we don't appreciate slander as this on social mediaOur company has been in business for plus years & have been part of the MN State Fair for plus years We as a company have never had a complaint that could not be resolved with simple communication This individual simply will not return phone calls Many phone calls have been made to her & her husband(who I did talk to & he said they have 8-jobs that this has to be worked out with her.) We feel she wishes to get a custom design for a sign without paying for the time & effort involved in creating it Bottom line is we explained we would refund her money minus the designing fee $- $= $ We are entitled to get paid for the work we put into this project In closing We are still willing to work this out & complete their order but she is not willing to return our call or contact us Thank you

This customers sign was completed & shipped on OctCustom signs & special orders take longer then our standard signs.I called *** *** and left a message regarding her sign & did talk with herprior to this complaint.Thank you,Metalcraft by KJim & Cathy ***

Ordered a custom plate on 9-18-Have emailed them several times and no responceSend back my as the sign is no good without the plateI gave them a check and it has been cashedToday is 11-5-I think this has been plenty of time

Sign was ordered at North Dakota State Fair on 7/25/18, we paid half down on this date and were told we should get it before Labor Day We have called and texted numbers on receipt and website and have had no response

RESPONSE TO CUSTOMER COMPLAINT: It is now days plus since the purchase of this sign. 1. At the time of her order on the receipt is our website & contact information. Which was also explained at the time of the order on August 30, 2016. Our receipt clearly states our website & our contact information. There is a direct way to download your images hours a day. See attachments on the invoice with website & contact information 2. Trying to get this resolved with this customer we have placed numerous calls by our office phone & our cell phone, plus sent text messages as well to this individual. ZERO calls or texts have been returned to us. The only e-mail correspondence we have received from her was on November 8, when she sent us her logo - artwork needed to make the sign proof design. (This was days after the sign was ordered.) It tells me this customer wants something for nothing (FREE) See attachments: Phone call from local telephone company & proof of sign design. 3. The point is all we are asking is to get paid for our services, work & time in designing your custom sign that you received on Dec17,2016 as a text that was delivered & read. Thank you

I purchased a ft sign at the Minnesota State Fair on Aug They were to create the sign and ship to us in a timely fashion I called in September, October and November, we finally got an answer in November and sent our logo via email the same day and were told we would get a response by the end of the week We got no response and waited another month, then we filed a dispute with our credit card company They have lied in the response to our dispute by stating they created our sign of which they never did anything until after the dispute was filed! They lied about calling us, lied about returning emails and even wrote things on the receipt that were not on our receipt Today we filed again with all of our records including call records showing they never once called and the original receipt minus their added notes They now say that we owe them $for them creating our logo of which was sent to them by us and they never created crap until after we filed the dispute! Me and my husband purchased a metal sign from this company for $on August 27th at the Minnesota State FairWe were told to expect it around the middle of September and we said okayI called the third week in September and left a message and emailed them also and she did call me back and said it would go out the next week as they had other shows to go toSince then I left messages and an emails and no answer back It is now October 12, and they will not answer or return calls and I really was excited to get this productI left the message saying if there was a problem then please just refund our moneyI am disappointed that I have to keep trying to contact them when they should be calling me or sending the product or just refund my money

We feel she wishes to get a custom design for a sign without paying for the time & effort involved in creating it.     7.   Bottom line is we explained we would refund her money minus the designing fee $241.57 - $150.00 = $91.57.  We are entitled to get paid for the work we put           into this project.      In closing.  We are still willing to work this out & complete their order but she is not willing to return our call or contact us.     Thank you.

I am rejecting this response because:
Yes their receipt does give their website never stated that there was anyway to upload photos to their website.  Their phone number was what we used to contact them of which they could not return a call back!The numerous calls they finally attempted to make to us was AFTER we had filed a claim with our credit card company, not once before we filed did they care to resolve this. She is correct we did not at that time return any calls back as we had given them enough time to contact us and to make this right!  We never asked for anything for free in fact she had half of our money for over 3 months and didn't lift a single finger for us in that time.  She did not create our logo or design anything for us as stated.  I have contacted the attorney general's office also with all of the complaints and proof of what I have stated.As a business owner myself it truly is disturbing that their are others who lie about what they provide just to keep a dime.  The customer is always right especially when they provide the proof.  She has proved to you that she did not contact us at anytime during the 3 plus months she had our money!
