Metamorphosis Salon and Day Spa

I bought a spa pedicure certificate through a local cheer gym and called the salon and made an appointment. After explaining that I had purchased the certificate, they scheduled me for my appointment. Upon completion of the pedicure, they WOULD NOT accept the certificate and stated that it needed to be done by the person listed on the certificate. This was not explained to me when I made the appointment and they understood that the certificate was purchased through the cheer gym. I kindly asked to speak to a manager, because they would not honor the certificate and told me I had to pay outright. The manager declined to come speak to me and relayed her message through her employee that they would do nothing and that I would have to pay full price.Not only did I pay $40 for a worthless certificate, but ended up paying $70 more for the pedicure in which I could get the same quality pedicure somewhere else for $30. On top of that, they tried to KEEP the certificate!
