Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The statments made by this lady are not correctFirst off I go by both names [redacted] and [redacted] since the first one is more complicated to pronounce The owner asked me to go see her so that she can take a look at my hair and fix it her selfOur appointment was at 6:00pm I called at 6:00pm to say that I will be minutes lateShe said that she had to run and someone else will take care of meI arrived there at 6:10pm with my husband, nobody even came to greet meI stood by the counter where I saw an envolopp that had my name on it and asked a lady working there if that was for me and that I just talked to ***, she told me from her place that was a few feet away that yes the envelopp was for meI picked it up and looked at the amount left for me which was of 30$I then said I paid more than 30$ the lady started walking towards me then she told me not to worry as [redacted] will take care of it and they are willing to make me happy and that I should just call her and talk to her I made sure I showed my bad haircut to this lady and she agreeed it looked messed upI walked away, then the next day I called the owner, no responseThen I told my husband to take care of this as I was very upset with the whole incident and how non customer service oriented this place is My husband recieved a message from [redacted] , stating that she will only be refunding 30$ as the rest of the money is for straightening my hairMy complaint wasnt only about the haircut, it was about the whole serviceMiserable haircut and the most horrible hair straightening I ever hadMy hair kept on falling since I went to this place Claiming that they went up and beyond is not trueI haven't seen anything that was done to go up and beyond, not even giving me a full refund, instead they are still struggling over $which is not much but for the damage they have done, they should be willing to do much more than just refunding me money they dont derserve and be happy that Im not taking them to court of small claims or doing something that would hurt their business They write fake reviews about themselves on Google and I have proof of what I say I finally, started letting go of this bad incident and putting my hair up on a pony tail all of the time, waiting for it to grow backKnowing that Im an image consultant, My hair and look mean a lot in what I do in a day to day basis and my business has been hurt from their incompetence and below average customer serviceHowever, after reading their response and how careless they are about their customers and how unethical and dishonest they are, I am not going to let it go It's foolish of businesses like this to think they can get away with destroying someone's image and giving them crappy customer service and on top of all of this LIE I do have evidence of all what I am saying and will be supplied upon requestI have plenty of photos of before and after and a note from a different hair dresser stating the condition of my hairAll of this evidence will be supplied upon request, not to be shared with the Public I don't support dishonest and unethical businessesWhen a lady goes to a salon she goes to leave feeling beautiful not having her hair destroyed and feeling worse than ever for months everytime she looks at the mirrorMy business has suffered eversince I went here and I will have a representative of my business get in touch with them soon Sincerely, [redacted] ***

I received the written complaint from [redacted] ***Metamorphosis Salon has booth rental stylistsI am not personally responsible for any of this resolution, however, I strive to always have happy people leave our business***, called herself ***, did call and state her unsatisfactionI, as the owner, offered to personally look at/fix/or refund money to make this client happyUnfortunately, [redacted] showed up minutes lateNot having adequate time to resolve the situation with her tardiness I left an apology letter and $cashThis is the cost of a haircutWhen she showed up the gal who greeted her offered the envelope and an apology [redacted] refused stating she wanted only a full refund on her credit cardThe next morning I spoke with [redacted] , her stylistShe immediately refunded the $to her credit cardShe was charged $for a haircut, $for a deep conditioning treatment and she tipped [redacted] $There is even a no tip option on the credit cardI feel we went above and beyond to resolve this situation including multiple phone call conversations and text messages berating me personallyWe still refunded her the money for her haircut with no legal obligation I have the apology letter and multiple witnesses that will confirm our attempt to resolve this [redacted] , was her stylistShe would also be more than happy to write a letterThank youMetamorphosis Salon Stylists

To whom it may concern,
For further explanation of the situation at hand, my client,  [redacted], whom wants to be addressed as [redacted] arrived for her appointment and asked for a haircut and a deep conditioning treatment.  In addition, she requested it to be straightened.  Due to her ethnicity, I was unable to straighten her hair with just the use of a blow dryer and it required the additional use of a flat iron.  [redacted] stated that she was at the shampoo bowl for 5 minutes.  In that time,  I completed a 3 minute moisturizing mask by Joico K Pac Reconstructive.  Her complaint concerning the steam during the flat iron process was due to residual moisture in her hair.  In addition, I also applied a heat protectant called "7 Seconds" by Unite before the blow dry, to seal it in.  The haircut given was a simple one inch off the ends and adjusting the layers she already had by a half inch.  When the appointment came to a close, and the billing was discussed, a "no tip" option was available on the square reader device and she chose to decline this option and in my perception, she left a happy and satisfied customer, which she demonstrated by leaving a $6.25 tip.  The next day I was out of the salon, when [redacted], the owner of the Salon, received the message that the client was unhappy.  In an effort to resolve this situation, [redacted] offered to adjust the haircut that same evening and made an appointment with the client to return to the salon.  [redacted] arrived 35 minutes tardy for her appointment, leaving inadequate time for her appointment to be completed.  When she did arrive, she was offered an apology letter with a 30 dollar refund offered for the cut, and she refused this, and demanded a full refund which would have included the 15 dollar product fee and the 6.25 tip.  The following day, I received all of this information and immediately returned 30.00 to her credit card via "Square" with no legal obligation.  
 I have been doing hair for 7 years and I have trained with some of the elite in the industry, I just arrived in Idaho 2 months ago from Raleigh, North Carolina.  In my entire career I have never been faced with a customer/client to go so far out of their way to destroy my career.  For example, filing a claim with the Revdex.com against the salon and myself, threatening my boss that she will take her to court, leaving a bad Google review, disputing the "Square" transaction over the product used and tip, as well as trying to having my license revoked through the Board of Cosmetology.  This has been an unwarranted ugly situation that has escalated with her multiple threats of taking the owner and myself to court and trying to sue us.  In her direct words, her email to the Revdex.com stated, "I already filed a dispute with my credit card and I promise that if I get anymore trouble with this company that I will be suing and I know exactly what I am talking about".
I hope this letter will help resolve this situation in a timely manner with the up most professionalism.  I am growing weary of having my professional character brought into question. I love my career and the happiness it brings me daily.  If I can be of any further help or you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact me.
