When I signed my lease I was never told that my water would be sub meter so when I signed up for my LADWP account and started paying them I assumed I was paying for water and power it wasn’t Until more than two months after I moved in that I was advised that I was past due on my water to my surprise I apparently had an account with meter net of which I had never even heard of them nor have I ever filled out an application but apparently my landlord had given them my information even though meter net had never sent me a bill so fine there was nothing I can do at the time so I began to pay them Including the late feeOver time I started to see bills would not come monthly so then I started paying blindlyWhen I started asking questions they started sending notices to landlordI started doing research online and started seeing the many cases against them for the falsified meter reading and additional fees(one of being the $“red tag” fee where every month they would charge for someon

Pathetic website
- A website that requires a form to add a credit card automatic payment??!
- Does not accept American Express?
- Does not give information about my current ongoing service bill?
- Charges me again an INconvenience fee (I already pay HOA) for paying for my water?
- $late fee???

Meternet does what it says it will doSmooth and easy relationship

Great personalized service and follow thru - can't beat pricing

Meter Net did not send the bill to either the physical or email addresses they had on record for meWhen I was notified by the building's property manager that I was late in payment, I contacted Meter Net on 4/17/and got confirmation that they were not mailing the bill to the correct address for me and confirmed that I would be able to make the full payment minus late fees on the next billing date of 5/10/ When I received notice that I was assessed a $fee for being late with the payment on April 30thI contacted Meter Net when the next bill came in saying I was assessed a late fee and it was past due and needed payment by May They said they would only wave the fee if I signed up for their autopayI was unwilling to do this so asked them to remove the late charge since I only received the bill on 4/due to their sending it to the wrong address before thenThey refusedI am paying the late fee of $on 5/so no further late fees are assessed

MeterNet has been greatInstalling meters into the units of our small HOA has reduced water consumption dramaticallyMaking payments to them is easy, they will take automatic ACH transfers, so there's no need to worry about a delinquent paymentThe reason I haven't given them stars, is because they only reimburse the HOA by a physical checkSince we run on autopay hopefully they will be able to make ACH deposits to our bank account instead of sending us checksWhen they are able to start making payments to the HOA by ACH, they will have stars from us!
