Sent: Wednesday, October 26, 3:PM Subject: Revdex.com Case # [redacted] - Memorial Property Management Good Afternoon , This email is in response to complaint [redacted] regarding former tenant Robert [redacted] I apologize for our delayed response timeI would greatly appreciate it if the information for our company was updated as the mailing address and other information listed is very outdatedRegarding the complaint: Mr [redacted] 's lease was between him and the property ownerOur role was to maintain the property, collect rent, perform routine inspections and pass all this information on to the ownerAs Mr [redacted] stated in the complaint we performed these duties on a regular basis and any issues that needed immediate attention were handledUpon move out we performed a final inspection with the property ownerThe owner had knowledge, pictures, and a move in checklist provided by Mr [redacted] to compare the before and after condition of the propertyGiven this information the owner determined what portion of the security deposit would be withheldWe, the management company, have no control over what that amount isWe spoke with Mr [redacted] on several occasion after the owner made his determination and explained this factThe property owner and we, the management company, both feel that Mr [redacted] was an excellent tenantThere was no deceptive practice on our behalf as we had no idea what, if any, funds would be withheld from his deposit until we got the final word from the property owner and then we informed Mr [redacted] immediately and refunded him the remainder of his deposit We also helped to explain to Mr [redacted] on several occasions that his lease was between him and the owner and that we had no control over the final decision that was made regarding the depositIn addition we provided Mr [redacted] a full color inspection report and copies of receipts for any work that was done as wellWhile we understand his disappointment in not receiving his security deposit back in it's entirety his complaint is not with us it is with the owner of the propertyRevdex.com Case # [redacted] - Memorial Property Management Regards, Jennifer [redacted] , Vice President mpmHouston Real Estate Services Cobia DrSuite Katy, TX 713-973-Office 832-504-Direct line 832-631-Cell 713-973-Fax
