Review: Few momth ago, I used this company to do refinance my home , they gave me a quot for refinance , I choose them because the charge was ok for me, before we did the closing they change the charge for refinance and after that I agreed to go ahead with the closing after we agree ( I and they) to refund me some off the extra charge that they are going to charge me we agreed to reund me $ 750.00 , I did the closing on March 20133, since that time I did not get the refund check from them yet and everytime I try to contact them They came up with excuse after excuse , and until today 08/27/2013 I did not get the refund yet and they did not return my calls or my Emails .Desired Settlement: I want to pay me the refund plus the pain and the stressfull time that they did it to me

Mr. [redacted]’s case was referred to management at Metro Advisor Group. After a thorough review, and discussion with Mr. [redacted], it was agreed the original credit received was accurate.

Addressing the specific issues he raised, Mr. [redacted] was concerned over the quote he received. When a client initially contacts a mortgage lender, the lender will provide rates with a caveat that the borrower’s specific rate may vary based on factors unknown at the time of the quote such as credit scores, and the appraised value of the home among many other variables.

Mr. [redacted] was quoted with the assumption that his score met certain parameters and the value of his home would allow for a certain loan to value. When these parameters were not met through no fault of his or Metro’s, his rate pricing had to be modified to meet the program parameters that were then available based on the new data. In addition to these variables, a title issue was discovered in the process which had to be resolved before closing. This resolution took additional time which did not allow for the loan to close in the initially prescribed time period. Metro contacted Mr. [redacted] and advised him and disclosed to him as prescribed by Federal Law, the changes and their impact on his Loan Level Pricing Adjustments. He had obtained this disclosure 4 weeks prior to closing.

Mr. [redacted]’s loan did close and the client was able to achieve the goals that he initially had. The lack of contact Mr. [redacted] experienced is not typical of our client’s experience and was primarily due to time out of the office with the sales agent. We have since worked with policy in our office to ensure that all calls, even those received while on vacation or time away from the office are returned in a timely manner.
