Awful customer service! Why does this Ann person in above reviews have to keep repeating that Metro provides good customer service? In the eyes of many customers, they don't Read Revdex.com complaints, read Yelp.com reviews There is a common theme with Metro, crappy service My experience was terrible There is a certain amount of trust in any business transaction Trust that the customer will be treated well if a problem occurs, trust that it will end with either an appliance they are pleased with or an uncomplicated return If you want to be very unhappy and frustrated with a business transaction, go to Metro

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 11, 2016/01/14) */
Response regarding Revdex.com Case *** *** ***
Metro Appliances and More received the above referenced consumer complaint stating that the customer, *** ***, has had continued issues with her KitchenAid double dish
drawerWe apologize for any inconveniences caused by any issues that Mrs*** is having with her KitchenAid dish drawer and appreciate the opportunity to address her concerns
Our records indicate that the customer and her husband *** purchased an open box item located in our 'Scratch and Dent' area on 10/2/The product was delivered 10/31/The first service call on the drawer came in on 11/7/14, in which the homeowner stated that the top drawer was not workingMetro Appliances and More serviced the drawer on 11/10/and on 11/26/(to complete the call) and found that there were loose wires in the wire harness; those were tightened and the drawer was tested and found to be working properlyThe second call on file came in on 03/16/15, at which time the home owner stated that the dish drawer was not cleaning rightWe serviced it again three days after the call came in and found that the dish drawer was working according to the manufacture's standardsThere was a third call on 10/19/This call came in after the manufacturer's warranty had expiredThe homeowner contacted our General Manager, *** *** He agreed that, despite the fact that there was no longer a warranty to cover service parts and/or labor, we would be willing to diagnose the problem and see if we could helpWe began the call on 10/26/and determined that parts were needed during the callThe parts were orderedOur tech did indeed go back and replace the soap dispenser on 12/02/At that time the tech ran and tested the dishwasher and it was working properly at that timePlease note the complaint was made with the Revdex.com on 11/30/at which time we did not have the part to complete the call
The customer has called and demanded a new dish drawerThe retail price of that dishwasher, which has been since discontinued, was $The customer was able to purchase it for $649, as it was an open boxed itemThe unit did come with the original manufacturer's warranty which states that parts and/or labor will be covered for one year (the warranty is attached)We have honored the full warranty for the home owners and have even exceeded that coverage on our ownWe have offered and agreed to help with servicing the dishwasher in order to get it to working properly, however we are not able to replace it, without consent and a Return Authorization from Kitchen Aid
The consumer has noted that she was told on three different occasions that our service department is short staffed and we couldn't helpOur service department consists of two service techsWe are indeed shorthanded at the moment as one of our service techs is out on medical leaveWe are happy to do what we can but we do have calls scheduled out for quite a period of time making it difficult to make our calls in the timely manner that we would traditionally strive for, so at this point it has been in our customers best interest from time to time to seek resolution of other service providers in the area
Again, we deeply regret the issues that the consumer has had with the dish drawer and hope to be able to resolve any future issues in a timely manner
Thank you,
Metro Appliances and More

We recently moved into a new homeThe dishwasher in the home was over one year old but had never been ranI pulled the stickers and tags from inside the unitI turned it on to see water running out of the bottomWe contacted our builder and he provided the service person at Metro who would schedule the serviceHe showed on time and determined parts would need to be orderedTwo weeks later Metro called to schedule the parts to be installedOn the day the parts were to be installed Metro called and advised the service technician was sick and needed to rescheduleI advised Metro that we have only been in the house for three weeks and expected this to be resolved quickly to include replacementWe were promptly told this dishwasher is not under warranty and this would cost us a service call and partsAgain we discussed that this has to be under warranty as we have only been in the house weeks and that the dishwasher was sold to the builderThe representative offered to have the service manager contact usHe left three voicemails and of the six times we tried to contact him it went to voicemail never having spoke with the managerToday I called the service representative again to determine what or when the dishwasher was to be repairedAfter discussion on Metros availability (clear we are not a priority) the representative advised that Metro is afraid of non payment and needs a credit card before they will come fix a dish washer they sold to a builder over a year ago that clearly has never been ran (ask the guy that came to service it)This was insultingWe purchased approximately $on appliances for this home, and purchased two other home appliances from Metro that doubled that number in the pastThis is the worst customer service I have ever receivedWorking for one of the areas largest employers I consistently recommend Metro over the other appliance storeThis stops today

Attempting to get my Thermodore range repaired has been a nightmare dealing with this company They've been out to check problem and order parts twice and still have not correctly repaired appliance Today, they once again rescheduled repair ( I took a 3rd day off of work) due to employee problems I would NEVER buy or recommend this company EVER!! Aweful service and follow-through Buyer beware
