Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowFor one my car was just bought from a dealership weeks prior and no it wasnt in any accident ever I have the carfax to prove itThis is my new car and their argument is weak, they broke my key and made me unable to work for a week and I have all the documents to prove it including buying the key and programming it to the car for $plus the $i would have made that weekThey owe me about a thousand dollars hands down not to mention I looked on *** to see what other people had to say about their shady as business...mostly bad reviews and I was a long time customer with my civic, the first time I take my jetta to them they brake it, not to mention I had to toe my brand new jetta that I just bought weeks prior from a dealership to bringing it to them for a car wash
Regards,

To whom it may concern,In response to the complaint that you received from Mr. [redacted] a few of his comments need to be clarified. On March 3" 2016 Mr. [redacted] did get his white 2010 Jetta License plate # [redacted] washed at Metro Car Wash Huntington Beach. What he failed to tell you in his...

complaint was that he had left the property after his wash and the key to his car was working just fine. After he left the wash told the manager that he had gone to O'Reilys auto parts and that when he left the store his key would not work. He stated his dashboard showed "No Key Detected". He also failed to tell you that his car had be in a major accident and he had just got it back from the repairshop and that they had reprogrammed his keys to his repaired vehicle.Metro only uses the key to start and turn off the vehicle so that we can placed the vehicle on the conveyor of the car wash. No car can be washed without having a key present. There was nothing that Metro or its employees did to his key to damage the chip in it. The chip is an internal device and function of the key. Therefore Metro Car Wash has no responsibility in replacing or paying for his key. That was something he should address to the repair shop which fixed his damaged vehicle. We made a full report of this incident and is in our daily log. Also Mr. [redacted] stated after he was told that Metro was not responsible for the key issue that "This is not over yet”,We have no responsibility for the issue he has with his cars key chip.

METRO CAR WASH, located in the metro center Parkway, Metroceter mall area on the west side of the circle. I've been going to this wash over the last 13 years. I wasn't in an year but needed a detail. Drove in at 9 am on February 28th, 2016 to get the detail for the usual price of $89.00, asked if they could do it, the guy the at the vacs said "sure" .took my information and walked up to the cashier, I told him I needed to drop my son off he said to come back later took my money and wrote "prepaid"on my reciept..he said come back because they couldn't do it right away. I dropped my son off with his friends and drove back. 11 /noonish. The guy proceeded to say there wasn't enough employees to do it (*today) and said I have 3 months to redeem. Brought it back another day told they couldn't do it same reason. Well I sold the SUV, my intentions of detailing was to have it viewed for appraisal, and Today, April 14, 2016, which is now sold. I spoke with Joe the manager about the matter. I have a new car that doesn't need detailed and my $89 wasn't able to get the detail. All he offered was a VIP wash (~$16.00) in exchange for my detail. That was the best he could do. (*Joe the manager?) I asked for the owner, said he wasn't in, wouldn't tell me when he would be in and best of all, couldn't tell me the owners name per the owners request. I'm concerned about the censorship of this family owned business and the shady way they took my money and didn't make a fair remedy. I offered to just give me a 5- 6 basic washes since my car is NEW and doesn't need wax, armor all ect. He wouldn't offer any other reasonable compensation for my money. I feel like they took my money and never provided service..no services rendered. They owe me $89.00 or that much in work equal to what I spent.

[redacted]

When I pulled up I stated I have had my [redacted] for two weeks its in perfect shape.. There cant be scratches or damage when your done. Without even telling him I was going to buy anything he already started to write all over my windows. Once we walked around the car and we both saw NO DAMAGE I let them hand wash it and I purchased the VIP wash. When they pulled it out to dry the girl opened the door right into a garbage can. When they did it they moved it very fast to the other side trying to hide that it happened but I saw it already. When I asked her about it they tried to lie to my face. I went to get the manager who did the inspection and he proceeded to tell me that they didnt do it even tho I saw it. I started getting angry with him for trying to tell me that a car I JUST purchased and just had detailed from [redacted] was like that even after we already looked. He tried to say anything to get out of it.. Eventually he shrugged his shoulders at me and just stared then said he was going to call the cops because I was being loud with him. Once I said go ahead he reached for my keys and handed them to me and said get out. THEY WERENT DONE WITH THE CAR YET AND THEY KEPT MY MONEY. I got a 5$ wash and they got paid for a VIP wash.. I didnt get the wax, the inside cleaned, or the tires and rims cleaned.

Regarding complaint [redacted], we would like to point out the following:1.  When the car was brought in to be washed at the car wash on 11/2/16, it was quite dusty and dirty.  There was no way we could tell if scratched before going through the wash cycle.2.  The only...

equipment that touches the vehicles, whether top or sides, are two sets of mitters, especially designed for car washes, to make sure no harm is caused to any vehicle that runs through.  From the way the scratches were checked by the Manager, it could be one of two things:  either a cat was sitting or walking on top of the car, or a box of some sort was put on top and then moved.3.  The Manager tried to explain to the lady all of the above and offered to show her how the line works but she refused.During that day we had a total of thirty-seven vehicles washed and no complaint was received by any other owner. The next day, 11/3/16, Management attempted to return the owner's phone call at [redacted] but there was no answer. We are 100% certain that the scratches this customer is complaining of, occurred outside our car wash.  We do not accept responsibility for something we have not caused.Metro Car Wash ManagementN.
