Metro Carwash Reviews (1)

Review: I went in for a car wash and as an employee pulled my car out for the drying portion I noticed my entire headlight was missing. I told the employee driving my car it was missing and asked what happened and he just walked away from me. I than went in to speak with the manager and they said the owner would have to review the video. A few days went by and I had to purchase a new light casing so my car could legally be driven. Over the next month I called more than 6 times and went in twice to get more information and the owner continued to ignore me. I finally got ahold of him over the phone and he began cussing at me saying "nothing happened here and he didnt have to tell me anything" I than told him his customer service was very poor and that I wanted to leave a review saying so and he continued cussing at me telling me to "come and say that in person" and threatened me to "be careful when Im there." I wanted the issue resolved and to be reimbursed for my light or at least see the video so when I got there I found the owner Frank. He continued to be hostile with me and shut the door in my face not letting me get a word in.Desired Settlement: I originally wanted reimbursement for my headlight and at the very least see the video of my car going through the wash. Now I am appalled at the way he handled the situation and threatened me and would like his actions reported so future customers dont have to go through the same situation

Response to Revdex.com Complaint #[redacted]

June 26, 2014

To whom it may concern,

The complaint that you received from Mr. [redacted] concerning the incident of June 17th 2014 did not occur as he states in his complaint. The true story of what occurred is as follows which is also available in a police report taken by the Costa Mesa Police Dept on that date. The police report number is [redacted].

Mr. [redacted] did bring his silver [redacted] to Metro Car Wash on May 20th 2014 and did say that his car was missing its headlight on the passenger side when it came out of the car wash tunnel. He reported the missing headlight to the manager and Mr. [redacted] and the manager [redacted] both walked the tunnel to find the head light. If the headlight had come off during the car wash process it would have been on the ground of the car wash tunnel, but it was not. Mr. [redacted] said “well maybe it came off at the tire store” he was at prior to coming to the car wash. Not hearing from Mr. [redacted] for several weeks we [redacted]umed he found his headlight and that the issue was solved. The manager did tell me about the incident and we did look at the video but you cannot see whether the headlight is on the car or not. Mr. [redacted] did come by the car wash one day (date unknown) to see me but I was not at the car wash. On June 17th 2014 Mr. [redacted] called me and started yelling at me as to why I didn’t call him and what was I going to do about his missing headlight. I never had any voice mails from Mr. [redacted]’s. When Mr. [redacted] was talking to me on the phone he was very angry and started to tell me he was going to report me to the Revdex.com and post negative remarks about my business on social media. I told him he can do whatever he wants but to make sure he is truthful in his remarks. He then threatened me and said he was going to kick my [redacted] a** and come down and see me in person. I told him not to come on Metro property and if he did he would be arrested for trespassing. Mr. [redacted] was extremely aggressive on the phone so I hung up. In less than three (3) minutes Mr. [redacted] showed up at the car wash. My cashier called me to tell me the he was heading to my office in a rapid fashion. Mr. [redacted] attempted to open my office door but it was locked then he knocked on my door. I opened the door to see this tall man dress in all black with an object in his left hand. He appeared to me to be under the influence of something but I did not smell alcohol. He had a crazy scary look in his eyes. I told him we did not have his headlight and that he had to leave my property immediately or I would call the police. He raised his left hand with the black object showing me he was recording me on some device. I told me I did not approve of him recording my conversation and to turn it off. He became even more enraged and more aggressive. I told him I was going to call the police. I started to go into my office when Mr. [redacted] grabbed my right arm in an attempt to pull me out of my office. He stating he was going to kick my [redacted]. He hurt my right wrist scratching and bruising me drawing blood. I yelled and said I was calling 911. He ran off and I called 911. I was extremely shaken in the process and my right wrist was hurting. The Costa Mesa Police came to my office and took a report and took pictures of my wrist. A video shows Mr. [redacted] arriving and the entire event which the police department has. I told the Costa Mesa Police that I wanted to press assault charges against Mr. [redacted]. A full report and video were filed with the Police Department. There were witnesses to Mr. [redacted] actions.

Metro has no responsibility and did not do any damage to Mr. [redacted]’s vehicle.

Sincerely,
