I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:I sincerely have never experienced such a lack of integrity from a company before After months of emotional distress phoning the dealership regarding my concern, being given incorrect contact numbers, and rude service, their answer would take zero accountability and blame me for going to the wrong source to cancelThey told me several times there was nothing they could do and I must call the warranty company It's a shame that I had to invest this much time to get this issue resolvedI finally received a call from the dealership yesterday, confirming they have a check I asked that they mail it out to me because I no longer reside in NY I then realized that they said the check was for plus or minus $1,I originally contracted $2,which I have been paying interest on because this was financed into my loan Now that I understand the dealership is responsible for the cancellation and refund, I am requesting and expect the dealership provide proof of refund guidelinesI have never used this warranty serviceMy contract was cancelled officially in writing as of July **, I expect the full amount refunded or an explanation in writing outlining why there is a $difference in the refund check.

Customer called the extended warranty company directly to cancel the warranty. She should have contacted the dealership and let us cancel it for her. Customer stated that the warranty company told her that a refund was mailed to our dealership. We never received a check, possibly lost in the mail....

We called the extended warranty company and had warranty cancelled on her behalf. We have a refund check for the customer which she needs to pick up from our dealership.

Review: On July **,2013 I went to Metro Chrysler Plymouth Inc. D/B/A Star with the intentions of leasing an automobile (Jeep Overland). The salesperson [redacted] gave me terms and conditions. However, since they did not have the car at the dealership we were not able to finalize the transaction. [redacted] asked me to leave a $1000, that if the transaction does not go through that I will get a full refund. They located the car at the smithtown, N.Y dealership. I went to see the Jeep on Tuesday July [redacted], 2013 and was able to get them the insurance that evening. However, the financing was not finalized neither. On Wednesday July [redacted] I contact [redacted] and told him that due to extenuating circumstances and personal reasons I was not able to do the lease at this moment. He then said, "well after we got the Jeep for you I do not think that you will get your money back unless you sue". He suggested for me to call the Sales Manager [redacted] before the month is over and ask for a refund. I called [redacted] and explained to him my situation and he also said that I am not getting a refund. On August [redacted]. 2013 I immediately sent the General Manager [redacted] a certify letter and copied [redacted]t and [redacted]. Did not received a response from any them. I decided to show up in person on Friday August [redacted] and the response I got from the sales manager was, I'm not getting a refund and after all the fussing by me, he then proceeded to say "let's take it outside". Even the General Manager was offensive once I was outside. I told that I wanted to end this amicably to please give my money back, that I do not want to pursue a lawsuit . The copy of the contract they gave me was only the front of the agreement and it states there, that this agreement is not binding if it is not approved by the general manager and it never was signed by non of them. On August [redacted], 2013 I received a decline letter from the financial institution that they had sent an application to them on my behalf, on July [redacted], 2013 for the financing. Therefore, I was not even going to get the financing. I submitted a complaint to the Attorney General office as well.Desired Settlement: Want my full refund.
