Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/08/07) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the
response from the business.)
MDM's response does not resolve the matterThe complaint filed with the Revdex.com concerns the matter of WHY $was withheld from the security deposit for cleaning and the subsequent response and treatment by ***, their employeeAs an agent of the landlord, they are my contact point for everything concerning the leaseI called them to ask about the listing; I called them to set up a showing; I called them to fix the ovenNow, when money is withheld from the security deposit, I call them to get a prompt explanation, which they refuse to provideThen they hang up on meWould they tell me to send them a letter and hang up on me if the heat went out? Would they tell me to send them a letter and hang up on me if I requested information about a listingThis kind of customer service would be reprehensible anywhere elseAnd now, when presented with a legitimate complaint about the matter, they try to dismiss it as a landlord/tenant dispute? I do not know the landlord, because MDM is who I deal with, not the actual property ownerWho decided to deduct $from the security deposit for cleaning? MDM or their client? Why that amount? What specific conditions were unsatisfactory inside the apartment after we moved out? These questions need to be answered if MDM wants to resolve this complaint with the Revdex.comI would also appreciate an apology for the way they treated me on the phoneFurthermore, if MDM was only acting on behalf of the owner when they withheld money from the security deposit, then they need to provide me with their client's name so that I can resolve the dispute directly with themOtherwise, I have to sue MDM in small claims court to recover the money
