Review: I have had several service calls on my ge refrigerator since august of 2012.each time the repair person came to my home, a different reason for the refrigerator not performing properly was given, for example, ice maker motor, needed freon, computer board. the last time I called for a service call, I informed their customer service rep that I had water leaking from somewhere in the fridge onto my kitchen floor, and there was excessive ice buildup in the refrigerator. I spoke to the manager and she personally gave me an appointment for 7:30 in the morning 2 days later. I rearranged by work schedule so I could be home at that time. when no one showed up by 8 am, I called customer service and was told that they do not make service calls that early,I informed them that I had spoken to the manager personally,and she set the appointment up. at 8:45 am, I called metro factory services again, and was informed rudely that my technician was stuck in traffic and would not be there until 9:30 or so. I requested to speak to the manager again,and explained to her that I had to be at work by 10 am,and a 9:30 service call would not be acceptable. I told her that her customer service rep was rude and unprofessional,and that I had re-arranged my work schedule specifically for that time.ihad water leakage on my hardwood floor from the refrigerator,and was concerned that it would damage the floor. I was told they could come out that day,but since I had work obligations,I could not wait for the technician. I had a loud verbal exchange with the manager ,stating my displeasure with the inconvenience I had been through.furthermore,iwas told the warranty on the appliance was up and I would have to pay for the service call. I refused,and decided to consider calling another repair company. I defrosted the refrigerator after the ice maker stopped working again,and there was ice buildup on all the shelves. I couldn't fit any food into it any more.this last incident ocurred in late may of 2013.Desired Settlement: service call should have been free of charge since the refrigerator was obviously not repaired correctly during the previous service calls,and that I should have been given another service call AT MY CONVENIENCE to attempt to correct the situation. due to apparent continued water leakage, my hardwood floor in my kitchen is now buckling,and lifting.I also developed water damage in the crawl space of my home directly under the refriegerator due to a broken water line from the refrigerator's water supply connecting it to the ice maker/water dispenser. I have contacted lowe's corporate office and my insurance company to report this also.

Review: Called them to schedule an appt to repair a washing machine, since I will not deal any more with one of their competitors. Guy on the phone was great - although the next appt they could give me was a week out, he said he'd call me if they got a cancellation.

Got a call the next day that they had a cancellation for the following day. Tech showed up on time and immediately diagnosed the problem. Needed a new part.

I ordered the part myself, as I knew I could get it cheaper than they quoted me. When the part arrived, I called MFS to schedule the installation of the new part.

KEY THING TO NOTE HERE - I WAS NOT GOING TO BE CHARGED FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF THE NEW PART, AS THE ORIGINAL SERVICE FEE COVERED THIS WORK.

Scheduled an appointment for three days after I got the part. DAY OF THE APPT, I get a call that they need to cancel and they will call to reschedule.

it's been a week and I haven't heard from them. Email link from their website doesn't work. If you call them, you end up in an endless hold situation.

No idea why a good experience turned bad so quickly, but I'll never use them again.Desired Settlement: I need a repair guy (preferably[redacted] who did the original diagnosis) to install the part to complete the repair.

Review: After being given the repair # by [redacted]s we contacted MFS to fix our Whirlpool refrigerator icemaker. They immediately made an appointment to come the next day (answering the phone promptly, as advertised). The repairman said we needed to order a part and he would return to put it in. The cost was $149.00 for the visit and would not cost more to return to make the repair. I got the part in a couple of days, called, the gentleman returned and put it in. Done. No. No ice. So we called back, scheduled someone to come back and find out why. As it turns out, we didn't need the original whole new icemaker or motor as we had been told. We needed to order a harness which has to do with a fuse. A different gentleman that took the time to look found this. The original gentleman was in & out both times without much investigation. I ordered the part, as told, and now that I have received it I can no longer contact MFS by either of the 2 numbers I have, 1-888-595-7200 or 1-973-328-4102. Standard recording is on allllll day saying leave a message (mailbox full) or send a message through www.metrofs.com which can't be found on the internet. I finally found their website and emailed them about a week ago and have not heard anything yet. They're niche is to always answer the phone and make repairs withing a day. I've been calling allll day for over a week and can't even leave a message, hundreds of times.Desired Settlement: I want a call & appt. to fix the icemaker correctly immediately, and no discrepancy over the charge. It has been paid.
