Review: I received a call from Meto Floral Decorators this morning asking if I needed flowers for an event that happened OVER a year ago. I asked to never to contacted by them again as I don't purchase anything from telemarketers. A few minutes later they began harassing me with 12+ sales text messages! I do not have a texting plan and pay per text, I had NO way of stopping them. I immediately called the business and asked why, that after I asked to never be contacted they started a text message campaign against me? The owner said that it's not his problem because he pays for these messages to be sent, and if I had a problem to talk to the company he pays to send them out.

What kind of business is this?! The messages advertise YOUR business hoping to get me as a customer. Take responsibility. I asked that he cover the cost of the 12+ text messages to my phone, because I don't have a plan. The [redacted] said that he wouldn't cover it and it wasn't his problem. What's funny - when I looked up the number it's registered to a T-Mobile Cell phone! He is PERSONALLY sending out these texts hoping to spam people into buying his products. A search on google will show horrible reviews and others having the same problem!

It is a violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (47 USC 227 et seq.) to send automated messages to recipients without express consent. Prior to receiving these undesired messages from Metro Floral Decorators, I had never heard of their business, so certainly had not provided express consent. I DID inform the owner of this, he does not care if he violates the law.Desired Settlement: I would like to never be contacted again in any way by the company other than to receive a written sworn statement detailing (a) how they received access to my personal information (and name, address and contact information of the entity that provided that data to them), (b) that they have neither sold nor shared my personal information with any other party. (c) a check to cover the expense they have caused me (text messaging)

Review: On July **, 2013, I began receiving text messages from an unknown (to me) number - ###-###-####. I immediately recognized them as SPAM and replied "STOP" to stop. I received 8 more messages offering products and services I neither need nor want. Response:

We have purchased these number from [redacted]. We send information via text because of the amount of leads we receive each month. In the event that a customer would like to stop receiving text they just need to respond stop.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved. I will follow up by filing a complaint against [redacted] for selling my personal information without my permission.

Sincerely,

Review: I received a phone call, and then over 10 text messages from this company (which I did NOT solicit or ask for). I have not provided my phone number to this company.

This same thing happened about 6 months ago, where I received 20+ text messages from this company unsolicited.

I have to pay my wireless company fees for text messages, and I never "opted-in" to their 'sales campaign'.

Very rude and inappropriate.Desired Settlement: Stop with these inappropriate sales techniques. I am not the first person to complain about this on the internet.
