This letter is in response to the complaint made by Mr***. He had a CT scan with us on May 13, and the initial estimated cost was $for a CT scan with contrast. Due to this medical history, our radiologist, DrGraham determined the exam should be performed with and with
contrast which resulted in the additional charge of $56.98. It is clear this was not properly explained to Mr***. Both *** and *** had provided him the exam cost for the with contrast exam without knowledge that Dr*** would modify the exam to Mr***'s medical history. As stated by Mr***, he did indeed send in a letter with a billing statement and did not receive a response. This is my error. I contacted Mr*** today and let him know of my mistake and apologized for the delay in responding. I indicated Metro Imaging would take care of the balance remaining on his account. He was very understanding and seemed to approve of the resolution. Thank you allowing Metro Imaging the opportunity to respond and resolve this issue. Sincerely, *** *** Chief Operating Office***
