Metro Immediate & Primary Care Reviews (1)

Review: I received poor health care services, along with feeling that I was discriminated against for my health care insurance. I called my insurance company before setting up an appt to confirm they accept my insurance. I made the appt on July 16 at 2:30pm. I was suffering from stomach pains and my pains were nothing that I have ever felt before. I go to my appt all to be told there is nothing wrong and the doctor suggest I pulled a stomach muscle. He ran no test or gave me any assumptions what may be causing my pain. Although I knew he was not correct with just saying my stomach is sore. He said to come back next week if the pain does not go away. So I waited a week and scheduled an appt July 17th at 5pm. I was accompanied by a different doctor, he said I was constipated and prescribed me medication. On the assumption it would fix the problem. I already knew and tried to tell them I problem need antibiotics. He said if the pain does not go away in three days than, they can refer me to get some x-rays done. I took the medication and waited three days. Schedule myself an appt (jult 27th) and took my referral slip to the radiologist. I went there to take the xrays and wait to hear back from the Doctor. The radiologist said they would send my results to the doctor who issued the referral. I waited a few days, called Metro Immediate care and asked for my results. He said they would call me back. I heard nothing for over two weeks. I was still suffering from stomach pains. I ended up flying back to AZ to see a doctor. Since I already had to taken an xray, they wanted those results. But metro immediate care would not fax the xray samples to them and would not give me my results. I ended up redoing the xrays and finally prescribed some Antibiotics for a stomach bacterial infection. I still never hear from metro immediate care. They eventually sent me a bill, only after the fact that I can gone other for a sore throat manner and told them what the end result was. I paid for an xray I did not get results for.Desired Settlement: I felt as if they kept trying to turn me away bc they did not know how to use my health insurance. After I told them my end results, a week later they decide to bill me in Nov for my services in July. When they never came to any conclusion on my xray or stomach pain results. I paid the invoices only I did not want to ruin my credit. I want a refund from them and for my xray invoice. I paid money for no results. The doctors there should not be licensed.
