Review: I booked a venue for my husband's 40th birthday on March **,2015. At time of agreement, [redacted] and customer had agreed to pay $900 for a party of 50 guests for a 3-hour dinner. It was for a buffet dinner which would include 3 refills for each dish. As the party was coming to an end, I paid the bill for $900 and a 20% gratuity, which was imposed by the [redacted]. I asked for whatever leftover we had in the kitchen since I thought they were already paid for. I was sitting right next to the buffet table and was monitoring the flow of food coming in. We were not given any leftovers and were told to take the food of whatever was served on the table to the guests. We were given bad customer service with poor courtesy by the [redacted] and wife. They were both manning and guarding the kitchen. The servers are saying something different to what the [redacted]s are saying. No one could say anything nor could we complain to anyone. Most of the trays did not even get any refill which is only a third of what we actually paid for. I would like to ask for your help of whatever I can to get at least half of my money back, to say the least. This restaurant is a fairly new business and I am sorry to say that they are not running it well and doing an inservice to their customers. I am totally dissatisfied and disappointed of how we were treated at that place. Please help me resolve this matter to the best possible solution so we could prevent such unfortunate events from happening.Desired Settlement: I would like to get half of what I paid for, to say the least. We only consumed a third of what was promised to us and agreed upon. The food was great and the staff were friendly but the [redacted] was just too greedy to keep the leftovers to which was already paid for. I need a fair treatment from this restaurant.
